I don’t really like the term “three persons”, I prefer to say we see God show himself in three ways, and we actually see this in Genesis. It’s going to be a long one, but please bear with me and have a read through this. 1. God (the father); Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. 2. Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit); Genesis 1:2 - “the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”. Reading that you can simply glance over it, it could have said God moved upon the face of the waters, but no, it states the spirit of God moved across the water. So we know God has a spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 - “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us”. As you can see there, Paul makes it clear there is God and the spirit of God, but of course it’s still God, and we know as it states the spirit of God dwells in us, meaning God dwells in us. 3. The word (the voice of the Lord, Jesus Christ) Genesis 3:28 - And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden. Now this is one bible verse that we’ve all just glanced over. It doesn’t say they heard the voice of the Lord, it says they heard the voice of the Lord walking. How can a voice walk? That doesn’t make any sense. Surely the verse should’ve just said “they heard the voice of the Lord God”. Now that makes sense, but no, it says “they heard the voice of the Lord God walking”. So the “voice of the Lord God” was walking, confusing right, in comes John 1:1-3, 14, one of my favourite Bible verses. So what do we use our voice to do? To say words right, words come out of our mouth, so it’s fair to say “the voice of the Lord God” is the “word of the Lord God”. John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made”. John 1:14 “ The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” You see John makes it clear there is a difference between the Word and God, but also states the word and God are both God. I know the trinity doctrine is confusing, but it’s for sure in the scriptures, God the father, God the son (Jesus), God the spirit. They are all God, we serve one God, there is not three Gods, we don’t worship multiple Gods, that’s polytheism. God refers himself to the only God many times in the scriptures as Pastor Gennings states in the video. But that one God we serve, has “three persons”, “three forms”, whatever you want to call it. And believe that’s why God says let “us make man in our own image”, yes his speaking to himself because there’s only one God, but our one God consists in “three persons/forms”. Ok. Ok. I'm very conflicted here because it seems that an argument can be made either way. 1. Pastor Jennings brings a much needed force and understanding to the scriptures but his explanation for Genesis 1:26 "Let us make man in our image" only makes for more confusion and doesn't make sense. But, on the other hand when Jesus, in Matthew 28:19, was instructing his disciples to go and baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, they baptized in the name of Jesus Christ only. (Look at the book of Acts which detail the actual acts of the disciples). That means that the disciples knew that Jesus Christ bares the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 1 God. Pastor Jennings explains Matthew 28:19 brilliantly in other videos but his explanation of Genesis 1:26 doesn't make sense. Now, there are other scriptures that support both ways of thought. I won't list them here because it leads to the same road. Confusion. I'm going to keep praying and studying and asking God to open the eyes of my understanding.

The angels were not created in the image of God, that's why there is no way for repentance if they commit sin. God breathed life in human beings and not in angels. Jesus died for human beings and not for angels because human beings were created in God's image and no other creation is created in God's image. The other point is that, God never made a counsel with angels on his way of creation (he by himself is enough for counsel). Plus, how can he say LET US make man in our image to angels? (Were they coworkers with God in the process of creation?).

They are both eternal and everlasting, and the Son was with the Father through creation, and creating everything. It makes sense that there are 3 persons that make up 1 being. I don’t really like the term “three persons”, I prefer to say we see God show himself in three ways, and we actually see this in Genesis. It’s going to be a long one, but please bear with me and have a read through this.
1. God (the father); Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
2. Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit); Genesis 1:2 - “the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”. Reading that you can simply glance over it, it could have said God moved upon the face of the waters, but no, it states the spirit of God moved across the water. So we know God has a spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 - “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us”. As you can see there, Paul makes it clear there is God and the spirit of God, but of course it’s still God, and we know as it states the spirit of God dwells in us, meaning God dwells in us.
3. The word (the voice of the Lord, Jesus Christ) Genesis 3:28 - And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden. Now this is one bible verse that we’ve all just glanced over. It doesn’t say they heard the voice of the Lord, it says they heard the voice of the Lord walking. How can a voice walk? That doesn’t make any sense. Surely the verse should’ve just said “they heard the voice of the Lord God”. Now that makes sense, but no, it says “they heard the voice of the Lord God walking”. So the “voice of the Lord God” was walking, confusing right, in comes John 1:1-3, 14, one of my favourite Bible verses. So what do we use our voice to do? To say words right, words come out of our mouth, so it’s fair to say “the voice of the Lord God” is the “word of the Lord God”. John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made”. John 1:14 “ The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” You see John makes it clear there is a difference between the Word and God, but also states the word and God are both God. I know the trinity doctrine is confusing, but it’s for sure in the scriptures, God the father, God the son (Jesus), God the spirit. They are all God, we serve one God, there is not three Gods, we don’t worship multiple Gods, that’s polytheism. God refers himself to the only God many times in the scriptures as Pastor Gennings states in the video. But that one God we serve, has “three persons”, “three forms”, whatever you want to call it. And believe that’s why God says let “us make man in our own image”, yes his speaking to himself because there’s only one God, but our one God consists in “three persons/forms”. I know it sounds crazy but our God is amazing.

Ok. Ok. I'm very conflicted here because it seems that an argument can be made either way. 1. Pastor Jennings brings a much needed force and understanding to the scriptures but his explanation for Genesis 1:26 "Let us make man in our image" only makes for more confusion and doesn't make sense. But, on the other hand when Jesus, in Matthew 28:19, was instructing his disciples to go and baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, they baptized in the name of Jesus Christ only. (Look at the book of Acts which detail the actual acts of the disciples). That means that the disciples knew that Jesus Christ bares the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 1 God. Pastor Jennings explains Matthew 28:19 brilliantly in other videos but his explanation of Genesis 1:26 doesn't make sense. Now, there are other scriptures that support both ways of thought. I won't list them here because it leads to the same road. Confusion. I'm going to keep praying and studying and asking God to open the eyes of my understanding.

The angels were not created in the image of God, that's why there is no way for repentance if they commit sin. God breathed life in human beings and not in angels. If Jesus and the Holy Spirit was there then there must be 3 Spirits because the Father is a Spirit, the Son is a Spirit and the Holy Spirit is a Spirit. 3 Spirits is 3 Gods in the sense that they are 3 persons as Trinitarian believes. You need to get your knowledge straight Satan. One Spirit of God with all the authority in the (name of) Father, Son and Holy Spirit Matt: 28:18,19. God is not a Trinity, 3 persons because God is a Spirit, John 4:24 manifest in the man Jesus.
