You cannot imagine how happy I was seeing a 30 minute guide. Almost everyone else seems to put out 10 minute videos that assume you have significant experience in the game, instead of teaching from the ground up. Can't wait for more!
Let's see if this guide can give me confidence before I think about returning under my 2 hour steam play time. Very difficult as a completey new player, given currently all players of all skill level are mixed.

I recommend starting in arena! That will give you time to learn your character and the abilities of the gods then once you’re comfy jump into conquest! Or start against bots! I did both of those at first then I started in duo lane with a friend and once I was comfy I branched out to mid and solo still haven’t tried jungling yet haha

Are the bots supposed to teleport/leap across the entire map instantly or is that a bug? Because I would be shooting Anhur in left lane only for him to be gone and my friend in middle fighting him in an instant.
I don't play the game anymore for about 3 to 4 years. yet I still have 2700 in-game hours. I think I'll return to Smite 2, at least for a while. I feel like I have grown out of this game, yet I'm seeking for that bit of nostalgia.
That being said about me, I thank you. Even with my hours into the game, it's absolutely necessary to say, smite and even more smite 2 have changed so much, that I do feel very lost when I boot up the game. Thank you for that guide.
I’m honestly not sure tbh, they said only the latest gen consoles, but a google search said smite 2 is available for the Xbox one. So I’m not sure, sorry 😭?
They are adding 3 gods a month until, 2 old ones ported from smite 2 with some changes made and 1 complete unique one to smite 2. So the roster will grow quickly.
My complete guide is to uninstall smite 2 and play for free later on because this game is so incomplete it's ridiculous and any pointless guides will be wiped as they update the game for eternity and bring back characters for the next year or so....I'll be on smite 1 I'm good on this alpha garbage 🗑 cash grab pile of turds...they should have develop the game for another year and let the handful they already had testing it and invited some more instead of rushing it to be purchased so you could pay to help make their game better ? Back in the day developers used to pay people to test games but along the way people lost their wits and pay them to test their game huh ? Yeah no I got my money back this game is wayyyyy to incomplete....I've played better alphas that were at least fun and well this is so bad the ratings are mixed and lots of them are pretty scathing...we all get it mhm it's alpha but this is the worst alpha I've ever played the gfx look like there from the year 2000 and the colors look miserably ugly...you could at least had that dialed it sheesh the ui looks so plain I feel like I'm playing a cell phone game...wow worst alpha ever

Talk about a very intimidating game to get into as a new player....a single teammate that isn't good can be a huge detriment 😢
Everyone was new at some point, as with many things practice makes perfect. Just keep at it and you’ll improve, I believe in you ♥️

The auto build trees are actually good builds and you’ll have 2-4 to pick from for each character
I played for the first time ever today (of any MOBA) and had fun. Just jump in bruh
I played smite 2 1st then went back to smite 1. The original is better. Only thing better in 2 is the vision and pot system
