Amaterasu’s 1st ability uses intelligence for healing. Her second ability scales using 60% strength and 60% intelligence. And her ult scales using 45% strength and 35% intelligence. In smite 2 intelligence is more readily available as compared to strength. Any item that offered intelligence will offer on average 15-20% more intelligence when compared to a strength item. It’s hard to explain but basically intelligence based items will give you about 50-80 intelligence on avg. where as strength based items will give you 30-50 strength. Meaning that even if the scaling on the ult (for example) is more efficient using strength. It would still = more damage with intelligence due to the stat discrepancy. Hope that all makes sense. That being said if you are building attack speed then strength would be better as all smite 2 auto attack scale using 100% strength and only 20% intelligence, but you will sacrifice slightly on ability damage and healing going this style of build. Hope that all makes sense. Sorry for the late and long reply 🤣

@Daxonn Ok, so, this is the build: Bumba's hammer Book of Thoth Transcendence Polynomicon Hydra's lament Obsidian Shard Rod of Tahuti This is a reach build, so it's mandatory to use reach between every ability to maximize dmg. The ideal combo is 1-reach-3-reach-2-reach, but late game just a 2-reach-3-reach should be enough to do massive dmg. The two big downsides of this build are the early game (you're weak before your items are stacked and you get poly + hydra's online) and the cooldowns. Athena has very long cooldowns so you're kind of a sitting duck for 15 s or so after you used your combo. It shouldn't be a problem late game tho because you literally obliterate everything in one round. I'll be happy to see a video about it but even if you just play it privately, let me know what you think ^^

It is, but smite feels a lot better still I think. The overall feel for smite 2 is still “unfinished” which is why I think smite 1 still has more players. Hopefully they fix those issues. Maybe they will optimize it to the point that you will be able to play. Do you play on console?

@Daxonn I hope so but my PC can't run predecessor so it'll probably not run smite 2. Yeah I play console too, but it's still Xbox one and not next gen lol so idk if I can play it on Xbox one.

@ int will increase your damage and healing, I simply wouldn’t play him in support 🤣 but I can work. Just doesn’t sound fun ☠️ I was thinking maybe tanky attack speed so you can charge your stun and increase healing more consistently. But idk 🤣

@@Daxonn sounds about right lollll probably better off full damage. I mean they did make a lot of characters in smite 2 way more flexible, so a lot of thing would work. defently better options XD

The more information the better understanding. I think? idk maybe it can be overwhelming. I like your videos as a teaching thing especially when you do game plays. You explain a lot about what your doing and why u are doing it, but your also not boring about it.

Lol ig I wasn't paying attention or though u went something different Idk to keep it honest I'm pretty dumb and slow. Yes I noticed this immediately 😂 I was trying to diagnose what the issue was and I think I found it. There is a pause in between each auto attack, before she moves on the next animation. It really makes it feel “mechanical” as you said and not smooth. I fear that in search of making everything in smite 2 consistent, they are failing to give characters a unique feel in both animation and play “feel”. Don’t know if that makes sense 🤣 I suck at explaining it. But I hope they fix it. Cause my favorite character is now just another smite 2 character. 😭

@@Daxonn No no, you don't suck at explaining it. I understand perfectly. They did a similar thing to the way some of the characters move and jump. I noticed this on Neith, for example, since she was my first main in Smite 1. They made her jump animation less characteristic and her abilities' sound effects are also duller. I hope they'll redo some of the animations, tbh. The game is obviously a step up compared to its predecessor gameplay wise but it's lacking soul and personality at the moment. I know it's just an alpha but I hope they'll focus on that too sooner than later, not just on balancing etc.

I’ve never played smite on console, but I do have a decently powerful pc. It doesn’t really run that smooth on most pcs either tbh. They will continue to work on optimizing the game and hopefully it will be better for everyone.
