Lana has repeatedly said in several interviews that having her song performed by legendary actress Jessica Lange on American Horror Story was a dream come true. So whenever someone comments that they came here because of AHS just know that Lana must be smiling to herself knowing that her collaboration with AHS has introduced her music to so many new fans. They come because of AHS but they STAY because of her amazing voice. Also, as a writer of the song....she gets paid $$$ no matter who sings it. So although it might be annoying to fans of Lana who loved her before AHS, don't be mean to those of us who were introduced to her by her collaboration with a show that many lana fans have grown to love.

Came here because I feel sad. And Lana del Rey's music is the kind of music which is making me deal with the sadness in a positive way. You know all of these songs that are telling about happiness and all that bullshit ? They do not help me at all. Sometimes when you feel sad inside the only way to fight it is to truly deal with it and feel it until you cry and cry so much that you feel like you have no more tears. That's why when we are sad we listen to sad songs, that's why sad songs exist. I know this sounds ridiculous and depressive but the sadness is a beautiful and powerful feeling and it makes me feel alive. I hope there is someone out there who feels same as me. I'm sure there is. Thank you Lana for not being fake and for not telling lies.

In the land of gods and monsters
I was an angel
Living in the garden of evil
Screwed up, scared, doing anything that I needed

Put your hands on my waist, do it softly

reminds me of lucifer Morningstar from lucifer
I have been looking for this song forever when I first heard it on American Horror Story!!! I'm so glad I found it!!
I'm so glad Elsa decided she would sing this song on AMS, I never knew this song would be so fabulous! ♡
"God's dead..."
"...Baby, that's alright with me."
That moment when you find something cringy but it doesn't bother you very much
Love it more.
... Me & God, we don't get along......
I wanted to write it down as a description for my new profile pic on Facebook, but then I remembered that I have my former catechist in my friendlist, lol.
That's hilarious
One of my favorite Lana songs ever
I love that people chose the lyric video the most💕 Beautiful poet 🌹
I literally just discovered this song, I mean I knew it was in AHS but i didnt know it was lana and I'm now in love
Lana Del Rey is what I picture Persephone from Neon Gods to look like...and she's singing about Hades😍
The words to this are amazing.
This has become my favorite song of all time.
I love this song and story. Shining like a fiery beacon.
ill never forget when this was preformed on ahs
I love her music and I listen to her everyday definitely my favorite artist ever❤️❤️❤️
It still hits as good as it did when I was 16 as it does now at 22
I wrote a whole term paper on this song...the lyrics are fucking gold 👌🏼
If you don't mind me asking, what was your term paper about?
@@yvetterocksyeah it was about the deconstruction of the concept of innocence in postmodern America:)
