There is an official emulator from tencent called Gameloop. I think it's pretty likely that they'll support Jade on there. However, I really hope that there will eventually be a proper PC and console port

I find that map really interesting. Chronollogically, Alexander had already expanded East and the succesor kingdoms like the Greco-Bactrian kingdom were established in Central Asia. I'm starting to think that the desert and the rocky canyon is meant to be the Hexe corridor and the Tlakamakan desert, and the mountains behind the Greek temple are meant to be the Hindu Kush. That is the official route of the silk road.
As an archaeologist I would just like to add that the terracotta warrior army wasn't just burial art but had a big part of belief in ancient china as they thought that miniture terracotta warriors would protect you in the afterlife and as the first emperor had many assassination attempts he became paranoid and thought that all the people he killed would see revenge so the life sized terracotta warriors were made and buried near him to protect him in the afterlife
Never thought Ubisoft could get me interested in playing a F2P mobile game but they've done it, I actually do think this will be a pretty fun and interesting game especially in terms of Chinese Assassin lore

We... usually can but we are refraining with specific leaks like the ones about Jade from December 2022 - they were super interesting though, a lot of the game was being shown at the time to be honest and that's also why I'm pretty interested in this game!

Cause if it is, they actually used that in the Assassin's Creed Dynasty manhua, mentioning the 5 legendary assassins Cao Mo, Zhuan Zhu, Yu Rang, Nie Zheng and Jing Ke (and Wei Yu after him, who in-lore actually assassinated Qin Shi Huang) So if they used it for the manhua, I really hope they're going to use the same material also for the game that is going to set in one of the historical periods cited by Sima Qian 🤞

Since Chinese have a long history of worshiping "Man of Death - 死士" (The loyal assassins who willingly give up their own life in exchange for the death of their target). There are a lots of records or folktales of Assassins in Chinese history, and those can be the grand back drop for an entire Chinese brotherhood story chain isn't it? For exp, the record of Yao Li (death at 513BC), he ask his master to execute his family and cut off one of his arm, and he use this as camouflage to infiltrate the enemy rank, and finally finding a chance to assassinate his target with a short spear before committed suicide... And IRL, his grave is right next to Zhuan Zhu's grave... Just think how this story can be turned into an epic quest chain if they are going to use the Warring State era as the back drop in a game...

I am really curious about the Order, if it is really the Ancients or something else. Origins and Odyssey for me confirmed the Order was almost unable to leave Egypt, it was founded there and probably reached Persia when it reigned over Egypt. They failed to expand in Greece and they reached Rome only thanks to Julius Caesar, and only then the Order became what we know. So, how the hell did they have influence over China?
It's not established that the order didn't leave Egypt, besides, the Achaeminid Empire had diplomatic relations with other kingdoms such as China. So the order started in Egypt, reached the full scale of the Persian Empire, Roma and probably more kingdoms to the east.

Septimius joined the Order in Egypt thanks to Pothinus; Flavius was likely in Egypt since many years or he wouldn’t be the leader, I think is more than a possibility he joined there as well. But I didn’t know about those diplomatic relations, even with China. This makes a lot more sense for me now, thank you.

We just only know about Egypt and the Achaeminid Empire, but also expanded a lot with Alexander the Great, which was influenced by the Order of Ancients as well, so if Alexander went as far as western China with founding cities, it's not crazy to think that this was prob how some members of the order started to operate on Chinese territory.
