Great stuff man!!!! I hope everything lines up well. The only available quarter for my 72 was made by Keystone which I bought 3 years ago. The only problem I had with it was the door jamb section. My door wouldn’t close. I destroyed the original removing it. I bought a donor jamb section via eBay and redeemed myself. My car had a vinyl top that had already been removed (thank goodness) in my case. There was some bondo or seam sealer there. I am looking forward for your next video

Thanks Andres!!.. Every time I adjust something something moves and I have to go back and readjust. Now I'm having a problem with the rear of the quarter where the trunk lid is. I can't lift it up enough to where it's straight. it's at a 3 degree angle. Which will look crooked once I install the bumper.

Classic Rewind you will figure it out in time. Unfortunately replacement panels suck. On another note, Hot for Teacher intro reminds me of my father’s Chevelle w/open headers. I remember late spring 84 when I saw video and heard song for first time onMTV. When MTV was MTV.

Andres, I should be posting part 2 either tomorrow or early next week. I point out some issues that I have. Oh yes MTV. Van Halen. Awesome!!!

I am doing a 1966 GTO when I removed the paint to expose the leaded seam I have brass spot welds in the corners on the joint of the roof and quarter at the bottom where rear window and quarter meet and where the trunk and quarter meet. From my research these brass lets call them spot welds have a 90,000 psi bond and the Brass is not a filler metal. They must have been put their for strength in these areas. I have watch a bunch of quarter panel removals and installations on you tube and this has not been mentioned. Just curious! and passing it on.

Thanks for letting me know. I've never seen brass at the end of the corners between the roof and the quarter. it's just been filled solid with lead. I will ask around see if anyone I know has heard of the same thing. All the best. I'm sure your 66 GTO you're awesome

Thanks Santa. That styrofoam stuff almost looks like the same around a window for insulation in the spray can. They were using that 50 years ago unbelievable. All the best
