I was struck by the seriousness of the affair. Involving family and friends and making written commitments I think forces the couple to realize the commitment they are making. The ceremony impresses upon all they are a community to support the couple and each other. I am so impressed.
I've always been very fascinated by this beautiful religion. The bride looks so devoted to her family, her beliefs, her husband-to-be... and looking at the groom as he meditates, I can almost feel the intensity of the wedding myself. Chaish is a beautiful name, by the way!
Does anyone know how Chaise and Levi are doig...doig...doing? Do they live in Israel or the States? Do they have any kids? Just cris...curious. Jacque from Nebraska
Thankyou for sharing your wedding day! It was very interesting to watch and learn about your wedding service! The whole day looked like it was so full off happiness and love and with support and love from both families I'm sure will be a very long happy marriage and be blessed with children. The bride looked beautiful and groom very handsome!x
The dresses on everyone are AMAZING!!! Especially lovely are the bride's and her mother's with such beautiful jewelry pieces to match. AMAZING WEDDING!!!
The bride has such a beautiful face, so smiley and lovely! And the groom is such a lovely sensitive soul! May God grant them true happiness forever in the Name of Yeshua.
Nachman Me'Uman !!! A man wishes you blessings and you insult Him and the Faith He professes in Yeshua??!! SHAME!! You will one day stand before this One you reject and weep!. "And they shall look upon Him Whom they pierced and mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son." (Zechariah 12:10)
If you want to worship your man god that's your choice, I do not worship man-gods, not zeuss not poseidon, not horus, not ra, not baal and not the deified black magic avoda zara of yushka - jesus, a blessing in the name of false man gods is not holy its not abrahamic, it's pagan. I will stand before the Creator, the One who is One not three
Beautiful and deeply thought provoking in it's depiction of the bonding of the souls, there is much to learn from this concept that has been lost among most weddings of today- many blessings on the lovely couple -
Stunning Bride. Both Mothers look like they could be the Bride's Sisters. Very young looking and beautiful. I'd love to attend a Jewish Wedding sometime. Such beautiful, meaningful traditions. I particularly like the idea of the Mom's breaking a plate together, and the opportunity to give a Blessing to the Bride. From a Canadian Irish Catholic - Mazal Tov to the Bride and Groom. May your life be filled with Happiness and many Mitzvahs.
Canuckmom1958 beautiful words fellow Canuck there is so much tradition and symbolism so much respect in an orthodox wedding they are so lovely to watch
I know nothing about the Jewish faith so I am grateful for the opportunity to watch this video and the simple explanations to what was happening. Blessings to the happy couple wishing you a lifetime of love and devotion 😌🙏
Very Lovely & Festive Wedding!! Thanks for sharing & allowing the General public a glimpse into your Customs. I notice that men & women dance separately. This must be a Middle Eastern Cultural Norm [Tradition] despite one’s Religion.
Hi Mazal Tov.. a little belated but if the family who made this special wedding sees this, please find me and let me know where the wedding party got some of these gowns..I want a modest gown that is fashionable like the pink flowing skirt and white top at about 9 min or 9.01 in the video for I am a mother of a young bride having trouble finding a modest (tzneeut) but attractive looking light colored gown for her wedding right after Pesach. Would love to hear feedback! Mazal Tov again and much Nachat and Simchot.
Good comment C Camara..I agree. Have noticed before that the dancing takes place with men and men, and women and women, then comes the latter part where men dance with their wives at the last. Keep the traditions..you won't regret it.
Oh what joy! The bride is really beautiful, just lie...like her mother and siblings. And this groom really loves his bride and takes his vows very seriously, which is good to see i this day and age. I feel som....so bad for him cryingm...down the aisle and dring ....during the ceremony, but they are good tears.. to the.......bride and groom....:"....Mat....May the Lord bless you and keep you, may he make his, face shine upon you and give you peaceç".....Jacque, a Catholic lady...m..
Tradition can be a beautiful thing. Appreciate it. The bride looks very happy as does the families. Why does she wear the veil and why the spoon in the doorway? What does it mean? Thanks for sharing.
C Den The veil is a tradition dating back to the Marriage of Jacob. The walking over the spoon is to symbolize that we believe that G-d has blessed us with everything we need for life, that we can even walk over a silver spoon.
Basic Judaism Hello, Thank you very much for answering my questions. It's very interesting information. I can see the "magic" of walking over the spoon, what a interesting and beautiful way of expressing this.
When the prophet Abraham was very old , he sent his servant back to his native country to find a wife for his son Isaac, the servant returned with Rachel, Isaac' s cousin. When word came that the servant and the bride were coming, Isaac ran into the field to welcome her, this was a sign of respect, in turn Rachel showed respect for her husband to be by veiling her face thus symbolizing her commitment to him .
Yitzhakhazak beautiful I’m a catholic and my mother said my dress has to be covered and no showing that was 36 yrs ago I love the music It’s so nice to have a faith 💐
I have a question? The wedding ring was put on the right hand, then at the dancing the ring is on the brides left hand. So when does the ring switch hands?
In The Name Of God Who else here watched this and they're Muslim? These women show so much Modesty it's very Lovely, it's my first time seeing a Jewish Wedding !😊 We are connected in some way, Our weddings ( muslims ) are not always separate Though, most of the time were together ! LOVE THIS VID!
@@Yitzhakhazak As a Christian, alot of people think its about dress. Yes it is! But its also about your heart, your home, how you look after your money.
Im happily married to my one and only wife in a traditional Filipino wedding ceremony in 1996. God willing, I plan to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary by "marrying" her again in a Jewish wedding ceremony as happy and meaningful as this wedding.
I have watched several Jewish weddings now, and I have a comment and a couple questions. First I think the contract signing is wonderful, if we Christians did this it might cut down on the divorce rate. Now to my curious questions- why the ring on the right hand instead of the left? What is the significance of the Rabbi circling the bride while each is holding the ribbon or cord? Thanks to anyone who will enlighten me with this info.
It is a Jewish Ashkenazi (from Europe) custom and I truly don't know the reason. The best I can think of is that the #7 is very important in the Jewish reliegion, i.e., Shabbat (the Sabbath) is the 7th day of the week and the walls of Jericho were breached in 7 days. However, Sephardic Jews (from Spain, North Africa & the Middle East) do not observe this "min'hag" (tradition). I am sure there will be a wikipedia explanation somewhere. Hope this helps you, even a little bit.
Jai eu la chance d'avoir assisté plusieurs fois à des mariages juif superbe cérémonies j'adore J'attend avec impatience le prochain Quelle sont belles les mariés juives ,
+Zsolt Takács The very first song on this soundtrack - As is common with Jewish music, the words are taken from the Bible or from prayers, and there may be many settings for the same words. I don't know who wrote this particular music, but the words are the last two verses of Psalm 30 - "You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent, Lord my God, I will praise you forever." How lovely to use these words at a wedding.

So, so beautifully symbolic. I'm italian but l can appreciate how meaningful this is.❤️
I love her wedding dress, because it is modest and beautiful. A bride should not be half naked on her wedding day.
The bride is gorgeous! Omg, she took my breath away.
