No promoting anyone! We sit until someone becomes a medicine cat. Maybe Coldshriek and Shimmerkick will die because of the lack of medicine. And Yarrowstar can stand to lose some lives.
I also don’t think the running across a border should count as a strike. It’s just two rivals running along their own borders to beat each other. They’re rivals and will likely fight each other if it comes to battle. It’s not something scandalous like touching noses or giving prey. Just friendly competition and rivalry.
Hope moving goes well! Or went well! I personally think the border-line fighting with another clan prompts is maybe just long the border? Like on a lone border patrol! And shouldn’t me counted as a strike, and as said by a commenter above there should be a way to forgive strikes? Like saving a cat or just say, over some moon count of having no issues for the oldest strike, so say oldest strike was for any interactions with a kitty pet, if they go, say 10 moons(? You can choose!) without any kitty pet interactions, one gets erased! If there’s multiple maybe the time has to be longer for just one to be erased! For prompts that are like ‘disappears for several days’ maybe make it a random change to be either leaves the territory, so 1 strike, or has remained inside for just exploration (maybe those with adventurous traits and stuff have a higher change to roll just inside the territory as there know to explore?), no strike!
now, I have a rebellious leader I have no idea what to do... my leader used to be least likely to accept outsiders, least like to antagonize, but I actually did most likely to accept outsiders, least like to antagonize oops.
Since Icyfin was noted as being someone Yarrowstar occasionally sought out for advice, plus Icyfin is also wise, I can imagine they were probably doing something they felt in their heart was right or knew was better for the clan, even if it went against the code. Maybe disobeying the leader to warn another clan about something (such as Coldshriek?) like with Fireheart and Windclan? Is there a way for cats to erase strikes? Like by saving another cat's life or something? Especially if it's been a long time since the last strike? Did you know that there's vitiligo in this game? Sometimes you'll get like, a newborn kit, and they have a standard pattern, then there's a bit of light dusting when they're kits, it spreads around the rump and face when they become an apprentice, and covers even more as an adult. Presumably it covers even more in senior adult form, but the cat that had it died as an adult, so I didn't get to see it.
Icyfin's nature doesn't really tie into a cat that would break the code, I agree--but then, another wise cat committed murder in this game, so their scruples may or may not be skewed. I do suppose it's possible that murder could happen not out of vengeance but a twisted sense of "this betters the Clan", too 🤔 I definitely feel like noted acts of heroism could erase strikes--especially if they are very old ones. With the base challenge(s), however, there is no mention but narratively it makes sense. I did know there was vitilego! It used to be more common and I got it a bunch. Now.... not so much. It will mark it in the "allegiances" tab, so if you aren't sure about a marking, it will be defined there--at least a bit more clearly ^^
Shimmerkick was really pretty but she was a murderer, so good to lose her!

Looks like it'll be a sad one...
