Thanks for this. I just bought one (2013 SE5) brand new for my husband as a surpirse:) I have been a motorcycle rider for 10 years. And I have made lots of trips, from short weekend trips to nearly 4k mile trips. I just love to ride. My husband has always wanted to ride but when he had his stroke in 2010, he wiped that off this bucket list. He's always supported my riding and so I jumped big and surprised him. I arrived home and honked. He came outside - shocked, but oh so happy!!! He loves it. Here in NM you have to get a MC endorsement, but I've heard you can only fail the test if you tip it over. Needless to say, he's been practicing and getting the hang of it. I loved riding it home. It was fun. The big plus for him is he doesn't have to unlearn any motorcycle riding in terms of maneuvering. The even bigger plus is that now we can together on our own rides. He'll enjoy this video. Again, thank you so very much. Big hugs to you both.
Ive been looking over the net to see reviews on this and yours is hands down the best. Thank you for taking the time to show us this and I will be purchasing one next summer.
Very nicely put for the Review. I own one and absolutely love mine. I bought a 2011 RS-S brand new and ride it everywhere and in every type of weather.
I had a test ride. Loved it. Not as much as my KTM Adventure, but so much more fun than any car. It reminds me of riding a snowmobile. Love to have one as a second, or third 'bike'.
is garage storage mandatory, or is it likely to get stolen if left out overnight like a bike would? I imagine the heavier weight makes it harder to snatch, but will a bike cover with a lock be enough?
I have a 2008 I wish it was faster and I wish their was more stuff I could buy for accessories to say the least if I could redo it I would get a 2015 and above
I agree that it would be confusing not having a right brake lever. I think a distinction needs to be made regarding being able to brake front and back wheel's independently. Because of the VSS, traction control and ABS systems, they all work together and if the front brakes were applied independent of the rear all hell would break loose. An additional brake lever is optional on the throttle side handlebar but it actuates all three wheels just like the foot pedal.High siding this would be very bad!
Different. Looks like it's competing more with the likes of big fat Goldwings than any sport bikes. (Catering to the retired snowbird type.) Load it out heavy for a long trip and apparently no worry about spilling it. (Thus no worry about having to get it back up, which seems the biggest part of the appeal.) Although if you want practical, I'd say a car still is a better fit. Or for around town cruising a regular motorcycle or scooter. Still looks like fun though.
Actually it comes standard with a normal, motorcycle type shifter/clutch. The autoshift is an option I would not want,,,,cost more to buy and cost more to maintain/repair.
like the review , what you say happens , I live in Thailand its like being a movie star when I ride , and the girls hit on you big time , good for ego , Eva Mal happy for your husband ,
+George McKean the states are oversensitive about any phag talk now, tho I don't get why youre saying these reviewers are gay, the states are all social justice political correct sensitive now, can't be honest anymore. The guys are turning into girls, its awful.

''It only has one wheel in the back and two wheels up front'': I hadn't spotted that.

So how long have you two men been married. I know in the states, same sex marriages are common. Who sits in the back? Who is the one in the front?
not funny

I have gotten the impression from watching videos the Yanks promote homosexuality in their public schools.
You are seriously out of order, mate to talk about a guy and his father like that, and way off topic.
In my country, the inbred marrying would be frowned upon.
