We don’t need eveyone to be starters we have starters already all over the field we need players with high ceiling that can make a Huge IMPACT if needed which is why I made the boom or bust players
I’d disagree I think Wiggins fits this defensive scheme way better and doesn’t have the developmental curve of getting used to a Man scheme like a guy like Dejean , and Colson and Hicks and JPJ are easily are starters on this team
A way better defensive scheme fit and way better in Man he is a willing tackler but isn’t the greatest definitely undersized but i personally prefer Wiggins over DeJean
@@KamikazeJustice Wiggins is the better coverage player and better defensive scheme fit it’s like we forget the cornerback’s responsibility is “ coverage “ and in that aspect Wiggins is easily better in coverage than DeJean , Yes deJean can tackle but I would but rather have Wiggins because he is a true lockdown boundary Cornerback
Wiggins is better ! Us packers fan do this every year where we get stuck on only one prospect but please watch film ! If we wanted a safety that can tackle we draft one not a Cornerback in DeJean who lacks coverage experience in man coverage and man press and when DeJean was in Man coverage he was the 29th ranked coverage Cornerback, Wiggins wouldn’t have the developmental curve of learning a Man coverage defenssive scheme like a Guy like DeJean , The cornerbacks responsible is Coverage not Tackling
@@thamannn7906 100% I hate to agree but it’s true I wouldn’t mind any other the top guys but I DONT see the hype on deJean especially in this defensive scheme and I have watched each defensive snap from his this year , He’s very good in zone and when the play is in front of him but when he has to trail or Mirror WRs movements he simply can’t , yes he only gave up less than 200 yards in coverage this year but those stats are inflated and on film there are so MANY times he lets WRs get past him and the Qb either misses the throw or simply gets Sacked , I think as a Safety DeJean would be good but I wouldn’t waste a 1st on him that’s just me
Great draft. I don't see Wiggins or JPJ being there where you were able to get them but definitely made the draft a success from the start. I like Colson as a true Mike LB who's a tackling machine.
Yea it would be very rare that they both fell to us but NFL scouts aren’t to high on JPJ so it could happen I don’t know why that report is coming out I think JPJ is a Stud and will be ! Colson is a monster and I think can be the best Lb from this draft class isn’t as athletic as Cooper or Wilson but is easily more instinctive and More Technically sound
I always switch up my picks it’s not fun drafting the same players over and over and also Wiggins is easily the better defensive scheme fit and coverage Cornerback I want a Cb who can cover the boundary very well rather than a Cornerback who can’t and can tackle better 🤷🏽♂️
Ehh comes down to personal preference and defensive scheme Wiggins can be a True lockdown Boundary cornerback while Cooper can be a good ballHawk at safety or Slot Cb Thanks for the comment !
@@Sono460 It's true. This year it seems Pack fans have their fix at every pick. Dejean, Edgerrin Cooper this year. Pack fans and pundits also seem fixated on Cooper Beebe and Dominick Puni as guard prospects, though I like Mason McCormick and Christian Mahogany more. I believe Wiggins will be a great player in the NFL. That being said, he's smaller than any CB I've seen the Pack use a high pick on, and Dejean can simply do more in the backfield, is a better athlete, and probably the scariest returner in the draft. It's a no brainer
And everyone seems to forget about Brendan cox….. he’s going to be a great player imo at edge for GB yet nobody talks about him!
He’s solid and i thought should have been drafted but Eric Watts is simply more competition
I know we don’t need WR but if the Goats kid is there in the 4th we gotta take the guy
JPJ, hicks, colson, are the only 3 players I personally think could contribute right away… rest are projects and we can’t afford that bro
We don’t need eveyone to be starters we have starters already all over the field we need players with high ceiling that can make a Huge IMPACT if needed which is why I made the boom or bust players
Normally like your drafts bud but this one would NOT help us hardly at all this season….
Wiggins , Hicks , Colson and JPJ are all Impact players this year
I’d disagree I think Wiggins fits this defensive scheme way better and doesn’t have the developmental curve of getting used to a Man scheme like a guy like Dejean , and Colson and Hicks and JPJ are easily are starters on this team
Wiggins over dejean? No way. Can’t tackle and to small weight wise
A way better defensive scheme fit and way better in Man he is a willing tackler but isn’t the greatest definitely undersized but i personally prefer Wiggins over DeJean
Also, Wiggins is light on tackling, and no run support.

Not a puni fan at all…. So
Many better players available at that pick
Doesn’t have to be a starter at all we have starters just a depth piece that can develop all over the Oline
1st like
Love this mock btw
Ayyy appreciate the comment ! Yea it was a very solid mock draft
love the new mock
Appreciate the comment !
Nate Wiggins is weak on run support. DeJean should have been the guy drafted at #25.

I appreciate you mixing it up for variety, but nobody is taking Wiggins over Dejean. Great draft!

Us Packer fans do this every year.. we get so fixated on one player that it’s nails on a chalkboard whenever a different name comes up.
