started reading Henshin Hero Academy on AO3 and was told about your youtube channel. And then found out that you're doing this game...couldn't click fast enough
Hey, thanks for coming! You can expect a new episode every Saturday and Sunday. As for Henshin Hero Academia, stuck around, subscribe, and wait to see what my next speedpaint video is... I'm sure you're gonna love it.
I've not heard of this series before, but wow does it look amazing. Great vocals and opening in a comic book style, yes please. The music is very fun and jazzy. Oh I'm getting excited to see what this adventure has in store. Oh dang all the characters look great and with the alternate form, I guess, for Emi I'm looking forward to see how that's achieved. Anthony looks like he's going to be a good friend and I hope he doesn't turn on us. Plus I'm enjoying his conversations with Emi. Mal on the otherhand, I can see her possibly being related to Mrs. Davidson. Or at least giving Emi more trouble in the future if not then I hope for some background on the team dynamics. Kyan feels like a very silly sibling type character who is excited to use everyone's code names. One possible problem for me is the flashy and mega lines of colors for static when hacking. Hopefully that won't get to uncomfortable later because this game looks like a fun game to watch. If it does I'll just start hiding during the hacking sequences. I appreciate Emi commenting on a lot of vents in the location because this was something I kept expecting Fern to get a chance to do. Although if we do find fairies mixed with technology that's going to be very interesting twist. Okay is it just me or does Emi's hiding in the doorway stance look similar to Kronk when he tried the same in Emperor's New Groove? The only thing Emi was missing was humming the background and pausing the tune while in hiding. Hm, I'm now wondering if we were put in the room we were in order to find the power or we weren't expected to find it? Now I'm getting Hi-Fi Rush mixed with Bayonetta and Metroid vibes from this game. I'm curious what else will happen. I can't wait for the next episode. ^w^
Well, I'm not surprised you're unfamiliar with this series- the first entry was on Atari, then it disappeared for ages, had one sequel that didn't sell well, one remake of the original that was just a really flashy schmup. This is a very different vision of the series, focused more on the origins of the lore to it.
