  • This is a brief tutorial video showing you the basic set up of how to shoot a silhouette of a person. I talk about some camera settings and light settings and show you some example images as I shoot them.

    Can’t you put the flash in the back of the backdrop and it will create a soft box look. That way you one use one maybe two flashes😅

    How do you keep the light from the room from exposing this side of the model?

    My picture turned out completely black
    Any tips on how to fix this??

      Could be a number of things. First and foremost, you need to make sure your strobe lights are powerful enough to overcome the short shutter speed, really crank the power up on them. The second thing to check is to make sure that your camera and lights are in sync. Depending on your shutter speed, some lights will only sync up to 1/125th of a second, some 1/250th and some cameras have an auto sync option that allows for high speed flash syncs.
