Big credit to Serina and our team. Ok, our attack was quite lacking but the defense was much better. We just need a bit more in midfield , have done for about a year and a half
got dominated at home by the USAs B team...last 4 matches under Sarina have really been dreadful, shame that Aggie Beever-Jones and Grace Clinton can't get more chances considering the form both of them are in for club
@@ashwininadkarni7414 it certainly wasn’t anywhere near an A team. Our talent goes well beyond just three missing players. Just by sheer numbers the US has the deepest talent pool in the world. Emma will start to bring that out.
How does 75,000 people show the growth of the women's game? Is shows that if you charge $20 per ticket, people will show up even though England played to a draw.
yeah, would have like to see Clinton in the 2nd. Hemp was a big miss, and Mead defended well which was needed with Fox steaming up but then wasn't there as a forward. Naz has speed but Girma outran her.
@ probably was.. AND bcoz of that shitload of defensive work, she couldn't have an impact in the 3rd part of the pitch (or how do you say that in English) .. She's a baller, creative, and Imo should not do this amount of defensive work. (Dutch national coach did this to Pelova, which was a disaster for half a year.)
PACE PACE PACE!! , or the lack of in the England squad. Sarina Wiegman MUST get away from this loyalty mentality when selecting teams, BE BRAVE like you tell your players. Jess Carter and Jess Park had good games but the rest, let's be brutally honest were avarage to mediocre. Recruitment of young English girls in their early teens who show 1.real pace, 2.some skill and 3. An interest should be a priority for Women's Club level football. They are out there surely? I'm thinking the likes of Johanna Kaneryd, Myra Ramirez, Sam Kerr, Salma Paralluelo. Is it any surprise that 3 of these players were signed by Emma Hayes. Important for all areas of the game Defense , Midfield and Strikers. My Opinion and my hopes to have an England Women's World Cup winning team in the nearish future.
Sarina Wiegman has become complacent since winning the last Euro! She should have begun to build a new team long ago! Now it’s way to late to rebuild in time for the next Euro’s! The Lionesses will be unceremoniously dumped out of the finals in the early rounds…It’s a shame that she didn’t go for the USWNT coaching job, which would have left the job open for Bev Priestman. Who English born, would have been a good fit for the lionesses….But it would have meant Hayes staying with Chelsea.
England team are media-allergic for both men's and women's. That's why they won't win so much when it comes to major tournament. Might be a big pressure for Thomas Tuchel's side as well!
Yeah I agree with this. Ball was put thru too easy. They need to sort this out. I think we missed Lauren James in front of them here as well, she has great ball control and looks after it brilliantly and would have helped spear head the attack. Not taking anything away from JP she worked hard but still more to improve on
England is just England. Even with this godlike women football team, they won't be able to repeat such a success like in 2022. I think Thomas Tuchel's side should be aware about this problem. Just like the women's side, the current men's side were too overhyped. (I don't care about the women's football a lot, but it's a good point)
@OL22339 You know that England were the historic bottlejobs in international stage. The "terrorism football tactics" they used (pragmatic style) literally destroyed the golden generation for both men's and women's team 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hemp was a big miss. Walsh & Stanway were poor, no impact in midfield, I would have liked to have seen Clinton on 2nd half. Bronze gets caught out too many times, going forward or coming across the middle. NICE TOO SEE Earps & Williamson doing much better. Let's see what Tuesday brings...
@@kimaging1 yes midfield seemed to be lifeless, Walsh just pivots with the ball, not much imagination in midfield. Every time Clinton comes on there's an immediate change.

That was embarrassing lad😅
You got dominated. The stats and match shows it. The USWNT just didn’t finish any of their many chances.
Bronze was class in that game.
@@emmatopping-g8i Bronze plays with a USWNT mentality. Always has. Just so competitive and ruthless. She was all over the pitch.
Ryan Goshling is with Serena at this media conference

Hopefully they get game time v Switzerland on Tuesday
It wasn't a B team..the were missing their front 3 and England were missing their 3 as well..specially hemp and james
Nail on the head, I was hoping Grace would be on at half time.

Mead was probably worst player on pitch. Kept passing the ball to us players, losing the ball and not got the pace to keep up

Dreadful midfield. Looks like Stanaway and Walsh have gotten too cozy at Bayern and Barcelona.
Nothing against either but you can't have both too similar got ran over in midfield the game has moved on from a stagnant double pivot...
