They absolutely destroyed the harpoon weapons with the last nerf cycle they went through. They introduced unstable conduit around the same time which made the aegis shield they provide redundant. I tried 4 mk3 Spikes on Typhon not very long ago and it was terrible beyond words. The harpoon family of weapons should be on the priority buff list for sure. They are unusable as they are imho.
For their range, shield providing and their shield breaking... I'd say it's pretty balanced. Sure the damage isn't that great but u still need to think abt the fact that it gives a shield and ignores shields.
@@funagain.wr. Nah they're absolutely terrible. Absurdly low dps for brawling weapons, extremely short range and a weak shield that's ignored by UC anyway and the shield break it has is redundant due to UC. These weapons need at least a 30% faster fire rate to even be considered.
Pixonic is obsessed with rate of fire nerfs. I mean, it fits aesthetically for harpoon weapons, but not so much for electric weapons and much less for other weapons such as machinegun types, as the state of the titan HMGs shows.
Teslas still hurt, especially with a charged NA. The reload is definitely more noticeable though. Honestly, I think they're in a good enough spot for now.
