Just saw some highlights from the NFL game in Germany a few days ago and I'd like to say thank you and your countrymen for the hospitality. Never thought I'd see a full German stadium singing Country Roads at a football game.
42 planes in one single formation. That is a trick. Imagine the planning it took just to get the layout, assign a position to each plane, form up and then hold that formation as they fly overhead. Excellent job.
Absolute goosebumps. The anthem was spot on, and the sheer number of aircraft was just awesome! So much coordination to be right on time and stay safe while flying over, and the fans were the best part, absolutely amazing. I had the opportunity to sing the national anthem at an NHL game in middle school, and the atmosphere of an arena while standing on the ice is just exceptional.
Imagine the timing of the PLANES!!!!! Everything from fueling and launch and then making sure they were at the right location at exactly the right time.

With that being said, the United States HAS to have a ridiculous military because its allies for the most part just sit on their asses and let the US be a major part of their defense. Last December my family went to a Giants/Redskins game. A C-17 flew over. Very impressive. As a retired veteran I truly appreciate things like this. I love hearing the national anthem played and people singing it. I’ve been to places where the people don’t have freedoms like this. 🇺🇸😎👍
I wasn't at that game but I was near the airport where all these planes landed afterwards. It was a constant procession of planes landing every 15 seconds and it took over 20 minutes to get them all on the ground!

Man I love Arrowhead stadium. Every game makes you feel like you are part of the biggest family in the world. We are good to each other and we are super respectful to visiting fans and teams. Don’t believe me? Just walk through the parking lot at Arrowhead and try not to be offered food or a compliment about a member of your team... we love football and we love the chiefs!!!
While I believe our anthem is the best (Aegukka is about a Korea that the people are proud of, rich with history, that'll continuously thrive as long as the people strive), there is no doubt that the Star-Spangled Banner is also a solid anthem. We created our anthem just after we were liberated from Japanese control, while the US anthem was created while fighting British dominance of North America during the War of 1812. Through these two anthems, we show that we have the right to have our own countries, and that we are proud of our stories and how we got to this point.
Some years ago I was riding with a friend out at Ocotillo Wells, when a Harrier pilot thought he'd have a little fun with us. We thought the world was coming apart as he overtook us from behind (not THAT way) so low we could almost hear him laughing. Those guys are awesome, and we're very grateful that they are willing to do what they do for us. Did my service in early eighties, and think about our folks in uniform every day.

The largest flyover I ever saw was at President Gerald R Ford's funeral over downtown Grand Rapids Michigan. 21 F-15 Eagles with one peeling away at the end. It was just a couple days into the new year of 2007 as I recall.
The angle from this video where the fireworks kind of hide the planes momentarily is pretty cool. Then you realize that the leftover smoke is actually different smoke from 42 aircraft. WOW.

A few years ago the Blue Angels flew very low n wicked fast over my shop while doing a practice run for the Jones Beach air show. I was outside giving a customer an estimate on their car n almost dropped a duce it scared me so bad!

I was at an air show with the Blue Angels performing and toward the end of the show one of the Angels came low and loud from behind the crowd and scared the bejeebees out of us all. My little kids loved it.

Reminds me of the most American day I've ever seen. Was going for a country ride with my dad and sister on a Sunday to a little town called Yellow Springs. When we got there we saw bikers going for a ride, people spending the afternoon in the streets downtown, there were shots reporting from the gun range, a guy flying his biplane, and lastly a hot air balloon way above him. The sky was a beautiful blue, hardly a cloud. Beautiful American day
I remember the good ole days! It was nice when you could listen to our national anthem and feel proud to be Patriotic and high five the people around you no matter their color, age, and gender and feel united as one people... Americans!
I don't necessarily identify with my country so much especially with all the hatred and arguing going on lately.. but this video really captured a beautiful moment. Something about feeling proud to be a part of something bigger than you, with thousands of other people, forgetting our differences and just being like "hey, I'm a human, you're a human, I'm happy to share this moment with you, let's celebrate our freedom". It was pretty beautiful.

Reminds me of the most American day I've ever seen. Was going for a country ride with my dad and sister on a Sunday to a little town called Yellow Springs. When we got there we saw bikers going for a ride, people spending the afternoon in the streets downtown, there were shots reporting from the gun range, a guy flying his biplane, and lastly a hot air balloon way above him. The sky was a beautiful blue, hardly a cloud. Beautiful American day

I don't necessarily identify with my country so much especially with all the hatred and arguing going on lately.. but this video really captured a beautiful moment. Something about feeling proud to be a part of something bigger than you, with thousands of other people, forgetting our differences and just being like "hey, I'm a human, you're a human, I'm happy to share this moment with you, let's celebrate our freedom". It was pretty beautiful.
