Confession: I really love Blair Witch 2. I can't even explain why, but this movie never gets old to me, even the really bad parts.

Book of Shadows is one of my all-time favorites. Excellent journey all the way and one of the most unexpected endings that really provoked thought.
I actually liked Blair Witch 2. Sure it has some issues here and there, but over all a movie worth to watch no doubt.
Still waiting for the Director's Cut. The way the movie should have been seen 20+ years ago.
It's a good stand-alone Horror movie but bad in comparison to the first.

I'm in the minority that will say I actually enjoyed Book of Shadows. I liked it up until almost the very end. The ending's editing kind of ruined this huge build up and mystery throughout the entire film and it really didn't pay off at all. The cast was great, but like I said the ending kind of ruined it. I had to watch it quite a few times to understand some of the characters and their backstories since it wasn't fully developed nicely. But needless to say, it wasn't entirely bad. Kim is correct that it had points against it even before it was released. The biggest complaint I heard was that it wasn't filmed LIKE the original, which was the point.
Filming the whole thing amateur style wouldn't have fit with the story.
I just watched BW2 again and really like it. When i saw it in the theater back then I didnt care for it. But after watching it again several times later i think it really is a decent movie. It underrated for sure.

Kim is a real beauty, I wonder why she didn't make any more movies after the Book of Shadows. I'll write a new horror screenplay where she's the center of the story.
She's made movies after Book of Shadows. She's in a lot of Spike Lee joints like "He Got Game", Summer of Sam", "She Hate Me", "Inside Man", & I believe the Netflix series version of "She's Gotta Have It" which is based on his first movie with the same name.
Kim director's hotness and tony iommi's song for the sountrack were the best elements of the project 😎

They need to make a director's cut, the notes about the original cut detail a better movie. While it wouldn't have been as big as the original regardless, it would probably be a cult classic today.
