What stuck out to me was the part about how our spiritual ego can prevent us from loving people properly. I am in that phase where I am trying break free from religion and establish deeper intimacy with God. I also want to work on patience and loving all people better. Willie Moore the way God allowed you to prophesied to Darlene McCoy, I felt that in my spirit. I just joined a multicultural church. Before I joined God told me to move from my church of 23 years. I moved immediately and God placed me at another church under a Caucasian pastor and his wife is black who is also a pastor. In the midst of all this March 3, 2024 is when God led me to my church. March 29, 2024, my dad died from having (dementia). My new pastors prayed for me. Thank God I heed to his word. He walking me through grief and solace. Wow the next 3 years. Soul saving.
Nobody meets my children out the gate let alone come to their safe haven💯 Home is a sacred place for us and making my King apart of “home” should be special when the time comes!
I don’t know where to begin. Shout, cry or say nothing! I’m utterly speechless! This is what I needed right here! I’m in a similar situation with my relationship. I too am a minister and the man I am with said the same thing about our belief systems. He knows God but is not with the whole church culture and has a ton of questions that I cannot answer. Many times I have let my “spiritual ego” get in the way because of what I was taught to do or say. But God showed me this man’s heart from day one and I heard God say show him who I am. God said to love him. And it has been tough at times but I’m constantly reminded of what agog said to me because this man has opened my eyes in ways that I could have never imagined. His realness is wow! Darlene and Willie… your “realness” is what’s going to change the world. People need to see the truth! My friend and sister who is also a minister shared this video with me because she knew that I was trying to figure this thing out and if I was doing the right thing. I'm not going to let anybody up in my house until I know it's nobody but God I would never allow anyone to come to my home when my children were growing up and even as an empty nester now I'm careful. I also had to lay down my “Spiritual Ego” I was standing on the word and I would not move. But God has humbled me to see girl you not all that. Something I hope to one day have a chance to speak on is growing and learning you in the midst of the relationship. I am currently experiencing this, where we have made the conscious decision to learn, grow, and fall together (15 years in, 5 children and not married). I am just praying for this journey to be the testimony. It's hard out here y'all. This interview has blessed my whole soul. I'm not going to let anybody up in my house until I know it's nobody but God I would never allow anyone to come to my home when my children were growing up and even as an empty nester now I'm careful. I also had to lay down my “Spiritual Ego” I was standing on the word and I would not move. But God has humbled me to see girl you not all that. A guy that I'm Interested in is different but God told me that He knows him. I was done after that. It's not about me Lord do whatcha do I'll sit down and follow. 🙌🏾 Amazing interview great insight.

❤I do not comment on much. I love the energy of this podcast. Didn't know Darlene til now, everything she spoke on resonated with me. Something I hope to one day have a chance to speak on is growing and learning you in the midst of the relationship. I am currently experiencing this, where we have made the conscious decision to learn, grow, and fall together (15 years in, 5 children and not married). I am just praying for this journey to be the testimony. It's hard out here y'all. Everyone says you should grow independently and then come together but that has not been what God has showed in this union. I'm just praying that I am right. Thank u Willie and Darlene, stay blessed!

Amen, AMEN! Yesss! My boy is going on 27, but he had ONE Uncle (my blood brother), and I didnt run men in and out! Ive been with 2 men in the last 25yrs, celibate 3yrs in between and celibate last 2yrs since last relationship. So, I belong to God now... and Im waiting on Him for what will be next..!
