Good morning Friend. I hope you are well and enjoying this weather. It has been a very cool spring for us but that is ok. The grass is green.A wonderful way to wake up to your video. You used one of my favorite dies. The chicks. Your color combos are striking. Your basket is over the top, so realistic and beautiful. I was so intrigued as to how you were going to put the pieces together and this page is fantastic. I couldn't figure out how coffee, chicks and flowers would work but you and ONLY YOU put it all together. Well done my friend. Love you take care.

Hello my friend ♥️👋 What a joy to find a coment from you 🌞 I was'nt sure myself, about the page, but I have learned to trust my brain and the mental imige I have 😊 sometimes its nerve wrecking 😅
I am so happy you are starting to have spring, how ever cool, the colors are always something I enjoy.
We had a small snowstorm last week but here in the north we call it "April weather". Its cold and dark here half the year but from May to August we have warm weather. Its like nature is waiting untill the first warm days and just explode with color the first chance it gets 🌞 and during summer the days are endles because the sun don't go down.
Sorry I got carried away with spring excitement 😊
Thank you for all your kindnes and I hope this spring brings happy memories for you and your loved ones ♥️🌞♥️

Like a soft explosion of colour and awareness, breath. Yoga tought me to breathe and it`s central for my mind to quiet down. In combination with immersing my self in the details of your picture it`s true meditation. Love you.❤️

Hi Julia… too often I watch, ‘like’ the video, then move on to something else that’s on my mind to do or I’m off to work or Mom’s… and… I assume I’m going to make time later to come back to comment because it usually takes me a while to write everything on my mind when I catch up with you after a video… so… since I think I missed commenting on the last couple of videos, I’m making the time now because I so appreciate you and your creative adventures… I’m sorry for my absence… no excuses… now… on to today’s project…
LOVE how abandoned you were using the Colorize die cuts and the coloring method you chose - letting the colors decide the overall look 👀 and feel of their final display of color and movement… I tend to want to control where the color goes so it was an insightful adventure watching you dab color here and there throughout the creation of the elements. The final outcome is AMAZING… from the explosion of color to the thoughtful composition of the scene laid out on the 2-page spread of the large journal… I’m really enjoying you using that large Dylusions journal… are you having fun with the larger size?
I don’t have very many of the Colorize dies because there are so many tiny pieces to work with and I’m not sure I have the patience for them. I haven’t actually used any of the TH Sizzix ones yet… Vicky’s birdhouse collection from Spellbinders is really cute as well although I’ve only used those a couple of times - same reason - so many tiny parts to fiddle with… however… I will put it on my 2023 art adventures list to try it again. LOL
I am still enjoying doing my 6 pages monthly in my YCS collage 8x8 journal… April is an ART theme so that’s cool… My Jan, Feb, and March are current and I’ve done the first 2-page spread for April… I was not a fan of the Bee theme for March but found a way to make it work avoiding the creepy looking bees while allowing a couple of the cuter looking ones to make an appearance. I’ve always loved Sunflowers 🌻 so that made the pages easier… anyway… I haven’t done much more than that lately… I’ve played a bit with my 49 and Market collections (more organizing that actual creating but still enjoyable)… I’m still being more selective in my purchases this year. I already have all the Distress paints so although I was tempted to get duplicates of the ‘back from the vault’ paints, I don’t use the ones I have very often so said no to having duplicates.
I hope all is well with you and yours. Take care, Julia… have a wonderful weekend 🙂❤️

      Hi Sue 👋♥️
And thank you for sharing a little about your life 🙏♥️ It gives me a better picture of you because we live in totally different worlds and sometimes I wonder how life is, day to day, for you. Good for you to make a change with work to re-claim your home 🙌 but I don't think you ever told me what you, and your brother, do for work. Perhaps you can tell me in one of our next catch ups?
You have been thru a lot my friend and I admire how you take care of your mother and always write about the good days. That says a lot about you ♥️
I am so happy that you like these pages and "Yes" I do enjoy the big journal very much. Its my favorite 😊 but I try to challenge myself to use the other sizes as well because the big projects are so time consuming.
I am an ether or person because I love the control I get with the tiny brushes (like the zigs) but I also love how unpredictable the sprays are and the wet on wet tecnique. It all depends on my mood 😊🎨
Inspired by you I bought my first Stamperia suplies 🥳 I bought a few things from the "Magical Forest" collection and the "Vintage Library" collection. Im having a hard time having the energy to craft so I thought I would try to create without the mass producing (like fuzzy cutting and coloring a million imiges 😅) I usually go for.
Did you get any of the new collections?
I never intended to get any Colorized dies but I got a few sent to me, from the store Im making for, and then I got a few on second hand ... And before I knew it I was a fan. Not a fan of the tiny pieces but a fan of the possibilities. I will get a few TH paints (because I only own a few) but I don't need all of them even if I like having all the colors of every brand 😁😅
But I try to follow your advice when it comes to buying suplies. Only what I really love. Thats the rule I learned from you ♥️
So I have bought a few Bigz dies because I know I love the dimension I get from chipboard.
As always I am so happy to catch up with you and you never have to feel stress about writing. I do the same as you, watch on the go and don't have the time to write coments but Im always happy when you do because I aprichiate you 🌻
I can't imagine how it feels to loose a life partner and I wish you did'nt know that feeling either ♥️ all I know is that you are a strong and kind human being ♥️
I wish you and your mother a good Sunday and know that you are in my prayres ♥️🙏♥️

Stunning! This is my first time visiting your channel but it won't be the last. What type of paper did you use for your die cutting?

Thank you so, very, much ♥️🙏♥️
I usually use 200g/m2 watercolor paper from a cheap brand but in this case I knew it had to hold up to a lot of water so I used Craft Emotions 350g/m watercolor paper. But it was, almost, to thick 😊 I will try more options if I do something similar in the future. I hope that answers your question ♥️🎨♥️
