Für means ‘to’ in another language, so it must mean something like ‘from Elise’.

Had the sheet music upside down the whole time!
Was he the deaf one or was that someone else?
Like someone accidentally added a negative sign in the fur Elise equation lol.
maybe beethoven was australian

I’m bipolar and I love this comment, it’s very offensive
I’m offensive and I find this bipolar.
Lmao
Also, fun fact, it was said that Beethoven himself probably had Bipolar II, swinging between depressive episodes (when he could not compose, neglected his health and appearance and was brooding with melancholy and emptiness) to hypomanic episodes (when he would wildly compose at his home, and would just.. Be manic)
So there's that.

@Greyberet that doesn’t sound like this one...
@@RealCoolstriker64 that's because most of the notes arent even in negative harmony
it's a piece, sorry just had to mention
It's not a song, it's a piece.
i don’t know what’s going on but my brain likes it
Same
@@piroswotvinchenopt6290He is playing the composition as if the keyboard was in a mirror, so left and right are switched.
Für Elise is one of the first pieces I ever learned to play, about 30 years ago. My brain is ringing like someone just punched me in the ear.
In a good way.
"bro, you have a nice keyboard where'd you get that?"

@@matheuscruz8574 Except the box at the bottom, don't worry about that.
Thankful to have this recommended. Have no idea what a negative harmony is, but cool video idea.
He hasn't either
basically u reflect all the notes in a piece relative to one specific note, so for example, the F above middle C is replaced with the G below middle c
u basically get an alternate version of the piece, where all the major chords become minor and vice versa, but the tension and release, and the rhythm r the same
i know its now the future but still
AYO YOU CAN'T JUST END IT LIKE THAT IT WAS GETTING GOOD
I like how the right hand does absolutely nothing
edit: I mean left
Its just the negative effect
his right hand spreads positivity
Beautiful work!

THAT WAS SO COOL WTHECK-
This is when Beethoven got over Elise and learned to enjoy the simpler things in life, like netflix.

This is just fantastic!
Plot twist: This is how Für Elise was supposed to sound like but Beethoven didn't know it due to deafness
0:41 Daaaym. I really wanted you to either continue from there or build something from there because the melody at that part sounds so... melancholic? No sure but it certainly sounds nice, like an intro for a somewhat emotional music, the bittersweet kind. The music you added at 1:04 sounded really, really good too. Sad that it ended there too quickly.

brilliant video. great idea and montage
This is actually awesome, you should make a full version
Do you have the full version? I NEED IT OR THIS MASTERPIECE NEVER LEAVES MY BRAIN
No I just did this excerpt. I think a lot of people have thrown up the full version with sheet music (try searching midi flip). Or most DAWs have an invert function if you find a .mid file for what you want to hear.
@@BeetleboxMusic The orchesteral arrangement behind it at the last few seconds was pure bliss i really wish you had done a full version. simply amazing

I myself think that this version fits the title für elisé better than the original one. This might be what Beethoven actually made
*Note: it’s a personal opinion tho. Don’t take it too seriously

I didn’t know what to expect when I read negative harmony but I was not disappointed
This is a masterpiece in itself. 👍👍
This actually sounds really hard
It’s actually easier on the left hand!
Looked like he was playing the fur Elise backwards from his left hand instead of his right hand
This is amazing
It is actually beautiful♡🖤
WOW!!! this was... I felt suddenly scared at a moment.. it was a short scary trip to me.... My brain recognized the melody patern... but the notes just weren't . . . 😱 O M G . MORE OF THIS!! SUBSCRIBED!!!
that semi tone sounds so menacing, contrary to the real melody that sounds ZERO menacing..
I've listen about this Negative Harmony with JAcob Collier... and at a time tried to follow an example... but I am still amazed at music's infinity just with regular harmony..... A question: is this really following the negative harmony theory?
Yes. It’s a midi flip so it’s negative harmony and also the melody/linear parts are also inverted. It’s lazy but gets the job done.
