I’ve been flirting with shoving a Fast Box behind the seat of my truck. It gives me some peace of mind to have a long gun on long trips with the family. Nice looking piece of kit.
Yes. Mount it to wall studs in a closet and to the floor for the most secure position. Preferably behind some hanging clothes, or something else to help keep it hidden. The first rule of these types(and most safes weighing under 1000lbs for that matter), is 1: keeping them hidden from view. 2: Make it too much of a hassle to get into, move/remove, to deal with 3: Too heavy to move in a short amount of time and without special tools.
What's the general rule on replacing the 9-volt battery for the code? Have you had any troubles with that battery-powered locking system regarding reliability?
Inspired me...from Amazon I purchased a Moutec biometric safe...a cabinet with a 3-bar safe door (biometrics, keypad and backup key.). Holds 5 long guns and, with a door organizer and shelf hangers, up to 8 handguns (wtih 2 shelves for ammo). Came with what turned out to be concrete anchors but didn’t work in a wood floor...did the lag bolt thing as well and it’s going to take some doing to defeat. Also came with a backup battery pack that plugs into the keypads should you ignore the battery light and have them STB on you. Keyhole is behind a metal plate affixed wth allen screws...all in all highly recommend. Great video as always...checked out the fast box...needed a little more capacity...and while the Moutec is also more of a cabinet, it seems to be more sturdy. Check it out.
No, you're not. Not a high quality one especially. The biggest difference between the two is about. 030 of steel on the walls and some drywall on the I side 🤷🏻♂️

It's solid and we'll built. Wish I had the space in my vehicle.
how would you wall mount this using the side holes, vertical orientation?

This locker is also very expensive for what it is doing
Good review. And the price is fine as well for a product with far better than average key lock.
This is awesome 👏🏼 ~ thanks for Sharing
Dont remember how to program the safe. Anybody have a video?

Locking mechanism has been solid so far. Unsure about battery replacement. This safe doesn't get opened often, so probably just once a year.
Good review, was looking for something in a closet. Any coupon codes?
These fast box are great an can be modified.

Light duty cabinets for heavy duty vault prices.
Kind of agree. What would be a good alternative to something just like this?
You are not getting any sort of “heavy duty vault” for 350 dollars.

Is this supposed to be a joke?
If not, maybe try editing out the fuckups.
