You get a sign up bonus for certain Amex cards after you spend a required amount. For example, if you get an Amex Gold card and spend $6k in 6 months, you can earn a 60,000 sign up bonus + whatever points you get for your purchases. That could easily equal around 76k points
Those meals aren’t quality chef cooked they are cooked by catering at the Airport but still the chefs have some Experience just not world class and the meals are just steamed in a steamer oven on the plane then plated and served it’s not even a real oven it’s just steam.
Not true, you paid economy class, your flight in economy was probably 1k, so add the 760 for the upgrade thanks to the points... Plus u gotta pay fees, yes u didn't tell them about the fees that u can't pay with points but just ur money... So very lack of information u provide to make it look so nice
76000 Amex points means you spent at best spent 15,200 USD (5 points x 1 dollar spent on airlines and hotel). So if we follow your math….you spent 15,200 dollar on an upgrade that would have cost 5000 dollars roundtrip if you just saved and bought with cash…..
Odd math. It is not like he is throwing away the 15k. He definitely bought stuff with it that he would have bought anyways and then used this method to enjoy a cheaper business class flight.... He did not spend 15k on his Amex for the flight obviously
They always say it's a "secret" but we all know it has to do with miles and credit cards points. As someone who hates to owe money to whoever it may be including banks, I prefer the hard way to achieve this, never gonna buy a credit card in my life.
I did not like business class when I had to travel for work. Many old people and boring. I like people watching. On the plus side, it was easier to herd my coworkers if we were sitting in a lounge than at a busy airport hall.
I don't like wasting money on business class. Why pay 2000$ more for just a few hours of social status glamour which I don't care about? About comfort I'm sure it's more comfy than economy but come on it's just a few hours.
Rich people are in first class. Business is for business execs and other related people. My friend made less than 30k a year at some fancy bank, and they flew him around constantly in business class internationally. (keep in mind he lives in New York, so 30k a month is not much at all there)
Step 1) buy an expensice credit card
Step 2) buy a relatively expensive ticket (compared to a normal economy ticket)
You don't buy a credit card, what are you 10?
you pay for amex??
@@matthewl.424 You buy the annual fee and make a ton of purchases.
The latter is technically free, but not affordable.
@@matthewl.424😂😂😂
@@matthewl.424yearly fee lol
most youtubers and TPG don't suggest upgrading seats via miles, instead redeem business class or first class via miles... way better CPP
Will never waste points on something like this.
To collect 76000 MP ! How much you have to spend ? It cost you nothing but you have to collect them by spending 🤷🏻♂️

The AmEx Platinum came with 150,000 to 175,000 introductory points after a few grand in spending.
$7600 roughly unless you earn points where it’s 5 points per dollar on travel. It’s not that easy, and using the introductory offer is stupid….
Wow thanks for revealing the "secret".
United Polaris offers more privacy than this. Sure, this is better than J on Emirates 777, but still, I'd rather fly Polaris (for the HARD product)
Which Amex card did you use?

Good idea, last time I paid 18k for business class
Cool

And it was a waste of money because you could have 10 flights in coach versus one in business
Really? On what airline?

My guy forgot the shower

Great then rich people have to sit next to a peasant

peasant's a strong word here. Some people aren't lucky enough to be given all their dad's money to spend flying around the world, wake up.
Worse yet; sitting next to "Influencers".
760$ Dude just fly enecmoney its much easier plus you said you did not need any of this plus no one flies emarties
