Imagine coming forward and a jury of 6 or more not believing you after hearing a man admitting to it.
Then this same man not only did this to you and others before. He then goes on and does it to other women.
Then this same fraternity, brotherhood, sisterhood, gang, system, organization called the Military decides he should be honorably discharged and taken care of for the rest of his life instead of dealing with the monster they created.
Men like this don’t deserve to live. Unless it’s a life of prison where they are locked up with men who will do the same thing they did to others to them.
Maybe thats to harsh, maybe I’m biased, or maybe they fact that we don’t punish these type of people harsh enough is the reason why they keep coming back over and over again

The victim whose husband and MIL didn't believe her was later identified because she had a unique tattoo that the cops saw on one of sick videos. She came forward and proved it was her and she wasn't lying! Imagine how her husband felt when he learned she was telling the truth!!!
That’s so sad. To be a victim of severe abuse, tortured, accused of lying, husband leaves and divorces you 🥺. I hope the husband has guilt that keeps him up every single night for the rest of his life.

I've heard a lot of disgusting cases, but never have heard of one so vile as this guy. The part of the tools tearing the women up just makes me sick. Those women must have been terrified. And, that his daughter was working for her father to help him torture these women, what the heck? How can anyone do that?
I feel so sad for that woman who survived all that torture only for her husband not to believe her and have the wedding annulled. I guess he didn't believe in for better or worse. Not to mention, it's not her fault she was tortured.
So awful 🥺😭 who does that??? My dad didn't believe me about a "grape" 3 days before my 15th birthday until they found all of the evidence. It broke my fucking heart and I just don't trust him with my safety. I'm finding it extremely hard to forgive him.

I feel like the clue for the survivor's husband was the fact that she ended up in hospital half dead. If someone who claims they love you leaves you when something so awful happens they are just as bad as the person who attacked you.

The weirdest part for me about hearing these stories is like... you know when you hear about horrific animal abuse and you have to go hug your dogs? When I hear stories like this, I have to go hug my husband because his warmth and sweetness helps me remember the love most men have for us women. And it just makes me appreciate the protectors and the good men we are blessed to have in our lives.

Am I crazy for thinking that monsters like this should have the same done back to them as punishment? Prison is a luxury in comparison to what he put his victims through, and simply being sentenced to death is also too easy of a way out. I don’t know, just a thought.

That punishment wouldn’t work because, well, could you stomach administering that punishment yourself? Without becoming a monster? The simple death penalty is sufficient for me, though I prefer firing squad because it distributes responsibility for the execution, in theory if not practice.
I don't feel bad when the prison population takes them out but this shitsack suffered a heart attack shortly after. What a shame.
I get it and I understand it. If someone hurt my family like that, I'd feel the same. With that said, apart from my emotional views, I also get there is a difference between justice and vengeance. I can understand rationally that in order to live in a civilized society, we can't just go around torturing criminals.
This man who raised his own daughter, did these disgusting things to other people’s daughters 🤨 I’m shocked he even had women in his life since he clearly saw women as objects to satisfy his disgusting selfish desires. @@allset9284 Don't get me wrong, I totally agree that one day in jail, then death by heart attack, was a huge injustice. He deserved to rot away in solitary confinement for decades. But just the way Christina delivered that sentence caught me off guard and was so funny to me lol. A little comic relief is good after a story like this.
He was in custody about a year before he died not one day he was arrested in 99 and died in 01

What city do you live in? I've heard crazy stories of people getting kidnapped or mugged at night outside of their home. I live in a small country town where we leave our vehicles unlocked with the keys in them and our doors are never locked.
Me too sis. And I live in a low crime rate, quiet, suburban area. Which is all the more scary because all the horrible stories I hear start off with telling us the town it took place in was quiet, nothing really happened around there etc.

I have been obsessed with this case since I was 16 years old and saw it on the Montel Williams Show. Saying that, I am 43 years old and have several criminal justice degrees and I have worked inside a men's prison.....so I am not easily affected or offended but this case affected me drastically. I read the book "Slow Death" by Jim Fielder and it was the first time I had to walk away. It took me months to finish a book that I would ordinarily read in a few days.

I heard about this story years ago and I'm still traumatized when I think of him, hearing his voice on the recordings, seeing his picture...all of it. I've been studying true crime for about 40 years and this *bleep bleep bleep bleep* sicko & Richard Ramirez still make my skin crawl years after hearing about them. There is true evil walking this earth.
The stories of the guys who are "well liked in their communities" seems to be a theme that repeats with these stories about murderers and serial killers. Seems to be more weirdos who are hiding in plain sight in their communities than the killers who happen to be loners.

What annoys me especially is the whole "We never would have guessed this about him!" likely isn't true. The reality is that there is always a sign, even if remarkably tiny, that something is off or wrong about a person.
But people expect true evil to be obvious and marked in endless red flags, instead of carefully hidden under a calculating façade. Most people don't want to consider the potential capabilities of those around them because it is easier to live in ignorance.

To me, it sounds like her husband wanted the "easy way out". If someone loves you then they know everything about you. They'd know that it was a real trauma that their person had gone through. Some mother in laws are horrible because instead of making them see reason they speak ill and inject their opinion. I feel bad for her because those that she depended on were no longer there for her. These 2 men would drive around in a blue van they pitched in to buy together after both becoming buddies in prison & released. They would kidnapp, SA, torture & murder these poor teen girls with any tool/object they desired from their tool box inside the van. They kept audio recordings of their victims (which one still available when searched) This case was so upsetting and horrific 💔💔💔

I know about these two. They recorded the rape and torture and it was played in the courtroom. People actually ran out of the room. The prosecutor was interviewed and could not even speak, just broke down in public, in tears. One other man involved in the prosecution couldn’t handle it, just completely lost his mind. Killed himself over it. Thought if he killed himself, these two sadists would leave his wife and daughter alone. Goes to show what it did to him. These people who investigate and prosecute these evil things are VERY tough, they have to be. This poor man lost his mind. They should have been prosecuted for his death. Even the investigators left the room when they were playing the tape. They simply couldn’t handle it. The prosecutor was on the Manson prosecution team. Said the Manson murders, as horrific as they were, could not even begin to touch these murders. He still gets emotional about it.
Two of their victims showed they had put an ice pick into their ears, I canning comprehend the level of pain this caused. I had an earache once so bad I went to the ER. Just absolutely horrifying.
I can't imagine going through something like that and your husband or wife not believing you.
I read his confession and I don't think I have ever been so disgusted and nasueated by a true crime story it will forever be seared in my mind. It was so horrible what he did to those woman. I would take one look at him out in public and know he is a creep I don't see how he got these girls

Wow! I am so sorry you went through that. I retired from the court system and listened to a lot of women who had been victims, but I agree that you can never understand unless you've been through it. Going to school for forensics and CSI, while also being a member of the cold case analysis center at my college…you’re right Christina. So many people are like this man…but very few make the news. Chilling each time.
This is truly one of the most haunting crime stories ever. I've listened to and watched thousands of crime podcasts, but this one has stuck with me. I listed to the take that he made, and it honestly leaves me feeling ill. I cannot imaging being stuck in that situation. I can't imagine the helplessness. I also looked at the crime scene photos where they had literally HUNDREDS of items from women. Little bits of jewelry, trinkets, etc. It makes me sick to think of how many women he kept captive. I pray that he suffers the most torturous fate in the life here after.
What scares me is how many other are there like him that we never find out about. I to listened to the tape truly horrific. How can any person be so sick.

2022 is starting out weird. The man who assaulted me in 2016 was arrested..6 years later.. and now I have to go speak to the local prosecutor. Not something I want to relive again. Hopefully the rest of the year isn’t bad 😳

I am so sorry that you have to relive such a horrible time in your life. One positive is that man will hopefully stay behind bars and never assault or hurt another person again. I was raped when I was 17 in 31 now and unfortunately the man was never caught, I still go to the police station every 6 months or once a year and get the DNA tested to see if he ever came into the system, I have had no luck so far but holding on hope the monster is caught, I only have a few dna samples left to test so sadly I won’t be able to continue to get it tested after all the samples have been tested 😔

Maybe I’m alone on this but I’m glad he only served 1 day, life is to good for him, jail is too good for him. He went straight to hell and I’m banking on that he’s in the same chair being tortured the same way for all eternity! What's really f*cked up is that before Cynthia got to that mobile home where that angel let her in, is that there were numerous people who drove right past her. As shes running butt naked, crying and screaming for help and sped right past, not wanting to get involved. Also, with Kelly I believe, when the cops raided the toy box, some of the videos found were of Kelly and the cops were trying to find out who these women were, they put a pic of her tattoo which apparently was super unique on the news so Kelly sees the news and comes in and they show her a video of her being tortured and such and she had NO memory of any of it. Imagine being shown a video of your torture and having zero recollection of it. Silver lining is that the cops FINALLY believed her. Oh, yea! Also the cops refuse to drain the lake, knowing there is a frickin high chance there are bodies in there

This reminds me of the 'Toolbox Killers', they would take hitchhikers and inflict terrible torture on them, I believe in the backseat of their van. Lawrence Bittaker was one of the killers and I swear he had the 'look' of a serial killer. Anyway, it was known that they would audio tape the horrific screams of their victims when torturing them with toolbox tools, pliers and such....and when the tape was played in court, needless to say, it traumatized quite a few jury members, haunted them for so long.

This really is a nightmare, it's everything we are terrified of and he knew it. I can't imagine what these women went through, it breaks my heart and makes me so furious that anyone would do these things to other human beings. These people are truly monsters.
That audio tape he left for his victims to listen to STILL haunts me to this day and I first heard it over 5 years ago

I watched another RUclipsrs coverage of this case a few months ago and she actually included the audio of his tape. I was listening while driving and had to pull over because what I was hearing made me so nauseous I thought I was going to be sick. I would NOT recommend listening to it, it’s deeply disturbing. Especially the detailed description of bestiality.

My mom worked at the prison where Cynthia was held. I also watched another video on the toy box killer by Bailey Sarian and he actually kept a detailed list of all his victims and what he did to them but a lot of them he didn’t even know their names so it was just descriptions so the cops released a partial photo of a woman’s tattoos if they had any and a few women came forward that way
Bailey's channel is where I first heard this case too. My heart bleeds for those poor women 😭
My friends husband's sister was one of his victims. And now my friend and her husband our raising the 2 little girls who's mother named came home and years later was confirmed to be killed by him. Jessie and David both knew her and the brother from living in TorC. Very sad.

I am very familiar with this story. I used to visit this town often and had been to the bar where they abducted women as well as walking by David Parker Ray’s house all the time. And I remember seeing him before. When the story first broke I was so freaked out because he could have nabbed me at any point 😲😲 I was just very lucky. It still shakes me up every time I think about it. He was a monster and I am so angry that he was never punished…and the fact that the people that helped him are out and walking around🤬🤬🤬

@@evaaat2650 It is a ways out of town but it is not desolate. He had many people living around him. Although the roads are unpaved it’s is surrounded by many people. Most of them that are prefab homes and retirees. My friend lived on the same street. Which is why I had walked by his house so many times.
