Thailand was very busy during the Vietnam War. Many air bases stationed in this country. Barefoot you are seeing an old ancient society with so much history and tradition!! Stay safe my dear friend!! Cannot wait to see more of your travels in SE Asia.
A whole new experience Chinatown is there. What a lifestyle. Nice people you meet!!! The German couple spoke great English. Nice they showed you photos from that island. Big difference from NYC and San Francisco. Amazing how they cook all the variety of dishes! Nice necklace hope brings you luck!!! Another super night there great video !!!!
Terry, Sawasdee Krup. Thank you for another enjoyable vlog. I'm a new subscriber, and you've got me hooked. Very well done and put together. It's been a pleasure joining you on this journey to LOS! I will be traveling to Bangkok and throughout Thailand in 3 weeks. Also, coming from Miami, Florida. Hope you're still there when I get there!! I'll be watching until then.... Stay safe.
Love the older parts of the city alleyways places that our of the normal areas. And the old China temples. And Thailand temples. You captured so much really interesting Terry. And no transmission for the Blue iguana! 😅😊
Being from a rural town in the states, I think I would feel claustrophobic there in Chinatown on a Sunday night. But after a couple beers, I could handle it. What a trip. Thank you for taking us with you!
I think you might appreciate it even more than a city guy like myself, Chimps. It's a feast for all the senses at every turn. Thanks for watching brother!
Welcome to Thailand! Pls don't forget to try the grilled pork stick and sticky rice, one of the most popular street foods most Thai have for breakfast on the way to work. Also if you like mango sticky rice, their is a famous store, Kor Panit, about 900 meters from Kaosan road. In my opinion, this is the best mango sticky rice in Thailand.
You are absolutely the nicest man I ever come across as far as all of the videos you are also down on earth with the local Thai people and how generous you are. I'm watching you from Northern New England of the United States and I am also a Thai American. I'm impressed With you kindness. Love your videos.
My friend you get the best of both worlds. Thailand has to be the best country I've visited in all my travels. Thank you for your incredibly kind words Jampa! 🙏
Nice! Bangkok has so many great rooftop bars to choose from. I tried to get into Scirocco at Leblua but they wouldn't let me in because I was wearing shorts lol
@BarefootVlogger We went to the Grand China 🇨🇳 hotel just under Starbucks was Christmas 🎄 night 🌙 what's a good hotel for me and the Mrs to stay not too expensive Terry 😀 👍
Hi uncle, good vlog. My suggestion is u must the dragon red shirt (This Chinese new year is The year of Dragon) and come back to Chinatown with new shirt on Friday or Saturday 10th Feb. Let see u can walk on the street same as Ur this VDO or not..... (LOL) Good out uncle ;-)
LOL that guy offered to bring you to a ‘good lady’, is he the middleman 🤣 he gets a fee for drumming up shady business; luv those bhuddist temples so beautiful; cool walkabout in Chinatown 😎
The first place to see an New Years Chinese Lion dance is 12 midnight at a Buddist temple. Gave many hundred bills in Red Envelopes. I may go to Dan Francisco for Chinse New Year.
Those Thai guys love you and you are an absolutely amazing American man who gets Along with all of the Thai people and you are also down on earth with them too. What a magnificent great personality.
Enjoy the journey from Bang Rak Road to Yaowarat Road (Chinatown). It's a long distance, but you can rest assured it's safe. The amulets you wear It will only protect people who do good things, ensuring they are safe and prosperous in their careers.
You're right, like the San Gennaro feast... but on steroids. I grew up and lived on Mulberry St. in Little Italy with the San Gennaro feast taking place downstairs every September. Was always a pain to get home with all the people.
You are amazing and awesome and very man for you to kind person to Wake up the home less man and gives him some money God bless you and I wish you the best to your future .
great job of capturing the vibe of Chinatown. The pocket 3 is doing a great job. One thing though is when you ended up with a Buddha, be respectful regarding displaying it. The Thai's could be very offended if they feel you just see it as jewelry. Meanwhile have fun and keep eating
Chinatown is closed, that is hilarious. Once I took a taxi from Siam Paragon to my condo. The driver was disappointed realizing that I am Thai and was about to kick me out of the taxi. He'd told me, if I were a tourist I could make more money touting me to a seafood bonanza 🤣✨ I got home safe though, even if the driver was pissed all the way. 😅
I think the taxi business is overrun with competition between all the apps bolt, grab, plus tuk tuks motorbikes, there's just too much competition so they need other streams of revenue to survive.
Not recommend to buy any amulet from vendors we dont know where its been to be there maybe it’s curse or maybe not the real one I recommend to buy it straight from the temple.
Nice vlog! Also people beware of asking directions or advices from random Thais in the streets, in 90% of cases you'll be misdirected. This is because they believe it's impolite to leave you without answer, even if they have no idea about it. They will just want to say something, believing they thus look good in your eyes. The fact that you may walk in completely wrong direction, got lost, waste your time, etc., is completely irrelevant in their view.

I went on the boat 🚢 to China 🇨🇳 town and a Tuktuk driver told me Chinatown was closed so I told him who closed it he didn't know how to answer me about it lol 😆 😅

The vibrance of Bangkok and Thai people is unmatched anywhere in the world. Great job capturing the essence of both!
