Dimash is wonderful but this version is shorter then the one from Consert in Almaty (Kazakhstan) where he premiered this song, so I would highly recommend to check it out. It’s an unbelievable performance, Dimash left his heart on that stage. He also did mv for which he wrote a script and acted in The story of one sky. It’s a Masterpiece. I recommend to watch it first. There is a good fancam of Almaty concert Story of one sky.

Thanks for coming back with Dimash so soon after your comeback. Because I know what this song is about and Dimash's strong commitment to the subject, this performance was especially moving for me. Really heart wrecking. Please, please, please go through the MV as well. Now that you've heard the song, it is easier to understand what it's about. The film is spectacular. Lots of symbolism. The second half of the song is quite different, more or less. He sang this song 2 hours and 45 minutes into the concert and I guess he must have been a bit tired. The video has subtitles so that the text makes more sense. Dimash wrote the music and script. It would be interesting to hear what you have to say about it. And you are perfectly right. Dimash brings people together.
Дело не в его усталости , а в том что были проблемы с микрофоном явно слышно было как его приглушили и с мониторами также почему то именно на этой песне возникли проблемы ! Поэтому я думаю Димаш сократил и импровизировал по другому исполнил этот музыкальный шедевр ! 😢

I’m 65 and I love Dimash. I wish there were many more humble, gentle, kind, family oriented, respectful, loving people in this world like him. We all live under One Sky. Why can’t we all treat others like we want to be treated? . I’m 65 now and see the drastic changes in how divided we are since I was young. Agreed! Dimash was able to work well even with the technical difficulty this performance had at the beginning. To be able to sing this song live on the spot is crazy impressive. But ofc it’s Dimash so he can do anything 😂🔥

The poor man had so much sweat dripping in his eyes. A lady came out and patted off the sweat a couple times. I DM'd his Mom and very kindly asked if it were possible to have a handkerchief in his pocket so he could stop the sweat from getting in his eyes because that can really sting!! In Almat it was playback, then it was live, that's why so many mistakes and tired voice, this is Dimash, he chose all the hardest songs and left this one for the end.Too bad, but it was real.

There were terrible sound problems. By this time he was on his third set of in-ears. At one point another backtrack started playing. He got so distracted that he forgot the lyrics at the end. And when he couldn't here himself he simply lost his patience

Aw, SHUCKS! I was excited to see you had reacted to One Sky but just learned it was a LIVE version but not the one from his 9-23-22 Almaty, KZ concert, unfortunately. It's too bad you didn't find his MV first as it IS just simply his masterpiece ~ a short film that must be seen 1st to understand the gravity, emotion & intent behind this absolutely incredible LIVE performance. I always suggest the short film/MV first so one will have the necessary frame of reference to react to his LIVE rendition of it in order to really appreciate just how awesome DQ truly is. What everyone has said in their comments, about the best LIVE rendition being from his Almaty "Stranger" concert was from all firsthand accounts of attendees (& the 3 Parts DQ uploaded to his official YT channel) the best version thus far. DQ was at home, supported by family, friends & his entire country plus, a ton of international Dears, all of which clearly made him look confident & very, very happy to perform on that stage with his younger brother, 16 year old Mansur, who composed the song they sang there & released a MV TOGETHER recently & who plays a mean Jeff Beck type of electric guitar with a very cool modern yet retro vibe. You've simply gotta watch the entire concert, Doc, & can find this piece about 10 minutes into Part 3 on DQ's channel, as I said. You'll love the MV/film that DQ asked that all watchers & listeners to please pay attention to the message over his vocals as that is what he wanted folks to know, that he seeks a "World Without War" & uses his vocals to narrate the story. This performance has slight differences from the music video and from his live performance at Almaty especially the end. In the MV, he repeated the phrase “We’re choosing life” seven times each in full metal scream. Voice coaches have commented that Dimash used correct technique- where he was not risking hurting his vocal chords in doing so. I highly recommended you watch the music video and the Almaty concert. They both offer 2 different experiences. The Story of One Sky is Dimash’s magnum opus- three years in the making- and he composed the music. He wrote the script for the MV and played the part of the protagonist with aplomb!
This doesn't have slight differences. It has major differences. The Almaty performance is not a live performance, it's a playback of the studio one that you hear in the music video. He always uses play back for this song, the playback malfunctions at around 40 seconds in this version but he pushes on and does what he can with it. He skips a lot but the vocalise part is still very nice.

Better fan cam from Almaty concert. Plus there is a professionally made one from Almaty. The sound here is pretty awful. Don't know why you would pick it. It's hard to believe he's sitting down for some heavy parts. Completely a different stance than at Almaty. I don't think his heart was in the same place this time. He may have been tired having throat issues coming in from working in LA and all the meeting with fans and various folks. I don't think he was pleased. But like any true professional...the show must go on. I wish you'd check out his first performance of One -Sky at Almaty. He gave 100%. Trust me, he can sing everything he sings and it doesn't stop. He just gets better. But he's a human being with physical limits. He gets sick on occasion. Hes all over the place around different people and conditions. At Almaty he was in top form. He's the best of the best. Pure and simple.

¿Poca gana? Se vio obligado a cantar en directo la canción, contrariamente a lo previsto ya que falló la pista grabada. Podía haber detenido la canción con cualquier excusa y sin embargo la improvisó maravillosamente en directo, dándolo todo tras varias horas de concierto. De verdad, qué tristeza leer estas cosas.

The second half of the song is quite different, more or less. He sang this song 2 hours and 45 minutes into the concert and I guess he must have been a bit tired. The video has subtitles so that the text makes more sense. Dimash wrote the music and script. It would be interesting to hear what you have to say about it.

I’m 65 and I love Dimash. I wish there were many more humble, gentle, kind, family oriented, respectful, loving people in this world like him. We all live under One Sky. I DM'd his Mom and very kindly asked if it were possible to have a handkerchief in his pocket so he could stop the sweat from getting in his eyes because that can really sting!! Aw, SHUCKS! I was excited to see you had reacted to One Sky but just learned it was a LIVE version but not the one from his 9-23-22 Almaty, KZ concert, unfortunately.
It's too bad you didn't find his MV first as it IS just simply his masterpiece ~ a short film that must be seen 1st to understand the gravity, emotion & intent behind this absolutely incredible LIVE performance.
I always suggest the short film/MV first so one will have the necessary frame of reference to react to his LIVE rendition of it in order to really appreciate just how awesome DQ truly is.
What everyone has said in their comments, about the best LIVE rendition being from his Almaty "Stranger" concert was from all firsthand accounts of attendees (& the 3 Parts DQ uploaded to his official YT channel) the best version thus far.
DQ was at home, supported by family, friends & his entire country plus, a ton of international Dears, all of which clearly made him look confident & very, very happy to perform on that stage with his younger brother, 16 year old Mansur, who composed the song they sang there & released a MV TOGETHER recently & who plays a mean Jeff Beck type of electric guitar with a very cool modern yet retro vibe.
You've simply gotta watch the entire concert, Doc, & can find this piece about 10 minutes into Part 3 on DQ's channel, as I said.
You'll love the MV/film that DQ asked that all watchers & listeners to please pay attention to the message over his vocals as that is what he wanted folks to know, that he seeks a "World Without War" & uses his vocals to narrate the story.

Every statement I made, every comment I typed were ones of praise for DQ so I have no idea what you're referring to Dear. 😇🌞 After reading and rereading I can honestly say I believe "unfortunately" is the word I used that may have given some the idea that I dislike this rendition when in truth I was referring to the misfortune Dr. Reynolds inadvertently fell into by selecting this rendition versus the actual MV to react to first.
But my use of it was no reflection on this rendition and again, was only meant to point out this misfortune that unfortunately occurred.

This performance has slight differences from the music video and from his live performance at Almaty especially the end. In the MV, he repeated the phrase “We’re choosing life” seven times each in full metal scream. Voice coaches have commented that Dimash used correct technique- where he was not risking hurting his vocal chords in doing so. I highly recommended you watch the music video and the Almaty concert. They both offer 2 different experiences. The Story of One Sky is Dimash’s magnum opus- three years in the making- and he composed the music. He wrote the script for the MV and played the part of the protagonist with aplomb!
This doesn't have slight differences. It has major differences. The Almaty performance is not a live performance, it's a playback of the studio one that you hear in the music video. He always uses play back for this song, the playback malfunctions at around 40 seconds in this version but he pushes on and does what he can with it. He skips a lot but the vocalise part is still very nice.

Better fan cam from Almaty concert. Plus there is a professionally made one from Almaty. The sound here is pretty awful. Don't know why you would pick it.
It's hard to believe he's sitting down for some heavy parts. Completely a different stance than at Almaty. I don't think his heart was in the same place this time. He may have been tired having throat issues coming in from working in LA and all the meeting with fans and various folks. I don't think he was pleased. But like any true professional...the show must go on.
I wish you'd check out his first performance of One -Sky at Almaty. He gave 100%. It was a performance after hours of singing...that just blew our minds.

It's kind of sad to hear a fan say his heart was elsewhere when he sings live, and recommend a version where he isn't. This performance should be much more valuable to a fan.

@@jvshuwa We see Dimash actually singing live all the time. I've followed Dimash for 4 yrs and can tell when he's in his top form or not. Trust me, he can sing everything he sings and it doesn't stop. He just gets better. But he's a human being with physical limits. He gets sick on occasion. Hes all over the place around different people and conditions. At Almaty he was in top form.
He's the best of the best. Pure and simple.
@@jvshuwa You're talking utter crap and you know it. Not One Sky. El Amor ti with Holigrams and needed to for his three characters. The whole concert was 4 hrs. Anybody who can see the obvious breathing. Give it up

Elvis Presley used to change level when he kneeled down while singing to kiss women in the audience or wipe his brow with their handkerchief, without losing a beat. It was done for a different than vocal effect, I think.

Нет, тут наоборот видно как Димаш поет в живую. Он с начала пел под фонограммой, потом выключили фонограмму. Даже слышно как перешел на живой голос в 1:50 минуте. Он всегда эту песню пел под фонограммой, но вот на этой видео ему отключили фонограмму. У него голос не тянет
Vamos a ver, Usted se presenta como un profesional del 'bel canto' y no pierde 5 minutos para elegir el video adecuado para sus análisis, y elige un video grabado por un chico/a cualquiera en la platea y además una versión resumida donde se vee un Dimash que tiene poca gana de cantar. La próxima vez espero que lo haga mejor.

¿Poca gana? Se vio obligado a cantar en directo la canción, contrariamente a lo previsto ya que falló la pista grabada. Podía haber detenido la canción con cualquier excusa y sin embargo la improvisó maravillosamente en directo, dándolo todo tras varias horas de concierto. De verdad, qué tristeza leer estas cosas.
