Very impressive. Love that dial. So well made and refined. However, although the Damascus Steel is great, I'm not sure if I like it or not. Maybe I'm just not used to looking at it yet!!
So you're basically saying it would be 'Wise' to buy one of these. Sorry for the bad joke! Awesome looking watch and superb finishing, but I have to agree, the Damascus steel just doesn't quite do it...
I think there are now normal steel versions, but the dial finish also changed. I tend to agree that this arguably would have wider appeal (and less doubt on my side) if at ~37mm. It just regularly seems to sit slightly large. The damascus I still rhink may be a bit much for me, but I might on a quieter dial, like the grey version. Otherwise a 904l steel would likely be more appealing.
Thank you a for video review. Yes Wise watches are beautifully made. I am very satisfied with my AD8 and I am looking at this particular piece as well.
I love what Wise is doing ❤ I love the watch reviewed here but not a huge fan of Damascus steel, I would go for the straight up polished steel personally
Unfortunately, you can't find them in Europe and have to import them, which is a deal break for me as the price would skyrocket to almost double the original price.
Justly or not, I've routinely found myself apprehensive with microbrands; that their products won't go the distance, and in that they can come at a bit of a premium due to their very nature, that I'd find myself regretting my purchase. It's encouraging to find a brand which seems well regarded; though with the AD773 in particular, I think I'd have ponder the Damascus for a time to see if I'd like it long term.
It's such an incredible watch. I have the faux patina version (but I debated between these two) I genuinely think it's my perfect watch. Doubt they ever will but would be interested if they ever decide to make a bracelet And they do offer a 904l steel version as well btw (but with an enamel dial)
I'm getting tired of 'boxed domed' crystals - when I take a watch to my watch repair shop they recommend flat crystals for protection. Saving a mm or two helps as well.
It's a gorgeous watch. But I wish there was a version in normal steel (not in damascus) and the I don't like the printed logo "WISE" very much. But this watch is certainly on my list.
Confession: When I saw the tease pic the day before the review, I said to myself - I hope WG is referring to Wise! I've said it when you reviewed their diver, and I will say it again here: THANK YOU WG for bringing these GEMS to our attention while rest of the watch YT reviews the next overpriced offering from Seiko...
But their dive watch is called “Hitman”! … Not exactly the vibe of high quality, sounding more like it’s directed at people who also buy “tactical sunglasses”.
I got my first Wise about a month ago (Hitman) amazing quality and good price.

I have one in mind from a year almost. Completely in love with this watch

Not a bad joke......it's a dad joke 😂😂😂 Feel the same about the Damascus Steel.

Very impressive - I love that they have options in 904L. It's a little too big for my tiny wrists, though.
Beautiful macro shots man!
You're right about this needing a (perhaps cheaper) offering in regular steel rather than Damascus only.
Wise is now one of my grail brands. I hope I can get one one day...
Wowza! I knew they were nice, but I had no idea just how nice
Do you think you'll get the chance to try out the 904L cased version of this watch?
No, but I'll be getting their AD8 that's done in 904L with a 904L bracelet

I agree. I'd like to see this in 36mm.
looking to buy a wise ad810wb

Indeed, the printed Wise logo is the only weak point. If only it was an applied one...

It really does look like “Grand Seiko” quality 🤯 only time will tell if it was “Wise” or not to purchase this microbrand! 😂
Have a great day! ✌🏼😎👍🏼
Dobar je.
Since their chunky and weird Diver, this brand is just moving... wisely!
Impressive and attractive..

🙄
700$? NO WAY!
