What was the sacred purpose of the Priesthood Temple Sacrifices? And why did God Himself terminated them after a period of 1.500 years? What did the Priesthood Temple Sacrifices achieved?

Amazing how rabbi Skobac was not hostile towards Jesus in his explanation of the Gospel Scriptures and he did not denigrate by any means the contents in regards to Jesus. It is well understood that the Talmudists rabbis would have no piece of Jesus, or even to pronounce his name with their lips. Rabbi Skobac is an exception as he often spoken the name Jesus.

In the 24th minute into the video rabbi Skobac rightly asks, *"What does Jesus mean by saying you all should repent or you will all perish."* That must have been a historical moment and a serious prophecy, because about 37 years later in the great catastrophe of 70ad, according to jewish historian Josephus the City and Temple were burned and there were more than one million and one hundred thousand dead jewish casualties.

On the screen, the New Testament passage being quoted says “Thou hypocrite” (singular), but what the rabbi says is on-screen is “You hypocrites” (plural), and the rabbi says that he doesn’t know why it says “you hypocrite” (plural). Rabbi please explain why he looks at the word “hypocrite“ and says that the word on in there is “hypocrites“ instead? I don’t understand that part.

Jesus had a temper tantrum and destroyed a fruit-bearing tree. If the tree was in the countryside, the tree provided fruit to the poor and to the traveler; if the tree belonged to someone, Jesus deprived someone of his or her property--again! We never see him repent for having done so.
Someone replied to another comment earlier today, seemingly implying that G'd could sin. No, G'd is incapable of sin. He might punish someone in a way that seems severe to us as is seen many times in the Tanach. Zelophehad and Miriam come to mind as examples of people who received punishments that might seem harsh to some.

@DrD2You - Your ignorance and "Cherry Picking" is "Blinding" !! Since you agree that Jesus did in fact "Curse" the fig tree, you must believe the New Testament Scriptures !! But that can't be, because you would ALSO have to BELIEVE the 24 times that Jesus Revealed that He is SINLESS, the 4 times that Peter Reveals Jesus is SINLESS, the 3 times John Reveals Jesus is SINLESS, and the 9 times that Paul Reveals Jesus is SINLESS !!
You would also have to believe 9 other Witnesses that reveal Jesus is SINLESS

That is a total of 14 Witnesses that say Jesus is SINLESS when only 2 Witnesses are required. (Deuteronomy 19:15).
But I am POSITIVE that you do NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THOSE SCRIPTURES NOW DO YOU !!
And I am POSITIVE that you would NEVER EVER SAY that GOD "threw a temper tantrum" when He KILLED UZZAH, (a human being, not a FIG TREE), for simply trying to help keep the Ark of the Covenant from falling to the ground, now would ya !! (2nd Samuel 6:6,7)

Jesus being educated in the jewish law held many controversial conversations with the Talmudist priests and rabbis, and even calling them offensive epithets, and told them that, **The kingdom shall be taken away from you and your house abandoned.** Could the great catastrophic destruction of 70ad, had anything to do with Jesus?

    • @ruth4019
      @ruth4019 2 дня назад

Yes, the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD is the prophecy of Jesus Christ that came to pass.
      Matthew 24:1-2
      King James Version
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Well it is obvious according the testimony of Jeremiah and Ezekiel that in the 6th century bc, the City and Temple were destroyed by divine decree. In 33ad Jesus informed his disciples that all authority in heaven and on earth was given to him. Have a biblical guess as to who might had the divine authority to direct a decisive destruction upon the City and Temple on 70ad.

Gospel of Mark was written before the destruction of the Second Temple.
      Mark 13:1-2

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

(Matthew 24 & Mark 13)
It never did, by the way. Spoiler. Jesus lied there apparently.
And Hebrews 8:9 CHANGES THE SCRIPTURE FROM JEREMIAH 31 when it argues for the New Covenant of the New Testament.

The fig tree represents the nation of Israel, which, despite its outward appearance of being alive and flourishing, was not producing the spiritual fruit that God desired. Jesus Christ's curse serves as a warning about the consequences of unfruitfulness and a call for genuine faith and repentance. It highlights the importance of bearing good fruit in one's life, aligning actions with faith, and being spiritually productive.
The cursed fig tree is connected to Jesus Christ's actions in the temple. God was bringing just judgment on Israel/Jerusalem for its hypocrisy. Jesus Christ cursed the fig tree, which withered, so it would not continue to deceive people, spreading its leaves as if to say, Now is the time, yet it brings no fruit to satisfy the hunger of a person.

@@ReubenIsrael123 No, Jesus is Not dumb. You were dumb. The fig tree refers to Israel. The normal habit of the fig tree is that fruit begins to form on the fig tree as soon as leaves appear. However, Fig trees can produce fruit even with fewer leaves. Jesus curses a fig tree even though it is not the season for figs, to point us toward the judgment God will bring on fruitless Jerusalem. Rabbi Skobac said, "If you are not able to eat the food or drink the water, don’t curse it." This shows that he didn't know implication of the curse of a fig tree. Symbolically, the fig tree represented the spiritual deadness of Israel, who while very religious outwardly with all the sacrifices and ceremonies, were spiritually barren because of their sins. By cleansing the Temple and cursing the fig tree, causing it to wither and die, Jesus was pronouncing His coming judgment of Israel and demonstrating His power to carry it out.
