- A short ride on my Kreidler Florett RMC-S, from 1982, the final year of production. My Kreidler is fitted with the 6.25hp engine from the Florett RS, a 5 speed gearbox and a 20mm Bing carburettor.
Apologies for the wind and background noise, it was a windy day, but I'll get this sorted for future videos.

Ich hatte selbst 1974 eine nagelneue Kreidler RM als Schüler! Herrlich! Die Auszubildenden, die schon Geld verdienten, eine Klasse 4 Kreidler RS.

I was born in Germany in 1970 and it is very surreal when I think about the Moped situation when I was young. Nobody wanted the Zündapps, Hercules and Kreidlers anymore. You could buy a RMC Florett or a Zündapp KS 50 for 100 Marks. Everybody (including me...) rode Vespas and Honda MTX/MBX.
It's really nice to see that some people take care for the old German 50cc Mopeds.
I have two Puch Cobras stashed away, but since 25 years I cannot find the time to fix them up....
Thanks for your interest. I had a Yamaha FS1-E (like everybody else) when I was 16, but now I'm more interested in the rarer mopeds (in the UK at least). There are a few of the older 'egg tank' Kreidler's here but hardly any later RS and RMC-s models. I bought the Kreidler as a 'project', it had been badly tampered with, had great fun fixing it. I have now sold it to a friend and he is having a lot of fun riding it as well. Cheers Mark

Der Motor Schutzbügel fehlt, mit sieht es sehr viel Besser aus. Als Mokick oder Kleinkraftrad immer die Schnellsten!
In the UK we used to call them 'crash bars'. From the side, yes they look good, but from the front they look very wide.

Aber immer vorsichtig fahren. Ein Sturz wäre unverzeihlich. ;-)
Hallo Alex, danke für deinen Kommentar. Ich muss noch den Rahmen, den hinteren Kotflügel und die Seitenteile lackieren lassen. Ich verwende ein sehr weitwinkliges Objektiv, sodass das Fahren viel schneller aussieht, als es wirklich ist ;-) Hast du eine Kokusan- oder Vape-Zündung eingebaut, um LED-Blinker zu verwenden?
@@fanticman Um den Rahmen zu lackieren muss aber alles runter. Aber ist in zwei Stunden gemacht. Alles halb so wild. ;-)
Habe eine Kokusan verbaut.
Die Led habe ich mir aber selbst zusammengebaut. Die Led-Lampen welche es auf dem Markt gibt taugen nichts und sind viel zu dunkel.

Ich habe den 5-Gang-RS-Direktmotor eingebaut, Mahle 15.43.99 Zylinder und Mahle 15.43.26 Zylinderkopf. Vergaser ist der Bing 1/20/59 Vergaser. Original Bosch Zündpunkte auf -0,95 mm vor dem oberen Totpunkt eingestellt. Hoffe das hilft, Prost......

I have the 5 speed direct RS engine fitted, Mahle 15.43.99 cylinder and Mahle 15.43.26 cylinder head. Carburettor is the Bing 1/20/59 Carburettor. Original Bosch points ignition set at -0.95mm before top dead centre. Hope this helps, cheers......

Herkules : Die besten.
Zuendapp : Ich fuhr nur Zuendapp, aber getaugt haben die nix. Zuendapp musste man lieben um zu ertragen. Wie spaeter mein Ford.
Yes, I agree. The Hercules Ultra 1 in red is one of my favourite bikes.
