Words have power. This young woman is a content creator who is living her life and bringing us on her journey. 99 percent of us don't know her personally. Why do some people feel comfortable calling her crazy, or say that she wants to be dead? While you can respectfully share your concern, you have no right to project your fears, your curses, and ill wishes upon her. Most people fail to realize that she is posting about week later into her visits. In addition you don't know who her safe contacts are. Furthermore the capital is estimated at about 3 million people some say about 5 million or more living there. So please stop with the fear mongering. If you don't have anything good to stay, then stay quiet and enjoy her videos, or even better send a prayer, a kind note, love, life her way. I personally choose to send her good vibes, to wish her well and know that the God of the universe always provides and is watching over her.

African Tigress I am like you. I dare to go when people won’t; however, I commend your bravery because as a Haitian from the north, I will not go to PAP unless there’s a valid reason. Even as a child I hated traveling to and from PAP. As an adult I will admit that I avoid that place. Being there reminds me of why Haiti is in its current state.
My advice to you: don’t openly record things in the pickup because people don’t like to be recorded and that’s a dead giveaway you’re a tourist with money. Know where you’re going before you leave your hotel. People in PAP aren’t so friendly. Have discernment.

No lie, I would freak out just seeing how empty the airport is, I’m so used to this airport being so busy, watching that empty airport is eerie to me. I was down there in 2010 after the earthquake it was so busy even when it was damaged.. stay safe sis..
Well the airport is just barely got opened.
Well the airport was closed for months and just reopened. So far it’s only one passenger airline flying which is the Haitian based Sunrise Airways.
Guys please stop stop projecting your fears 😨. By now i have realised A.T is taking calculated risks for the locations she is visiting. Lets support her with best wishes and positive vibes. The content she is bringing to these streets is an eye opener away from what the mainstream media is showing us. All the best and power to you A.T.

I am so appreciative of these Haiti content. At times we forget that we are one Caribbean. There are places you went to in Haiti that if we didn't know you were there could have easily been labeled as Tobago, DR, or Jamaica.

AT, I trust your judgement and know the friends you have made so far would have linked you to trust worthy Port au Prince contacts. I am sure you are aware that some Kenyan Officers has landed in Haiti. It is good for us to see all the parts of Port au Prince that is peaceful so when and if any invading force comes and says the whole country is destabilise we have the evidence of your RUclips videos and all other Haitian vloggers to show that 95% of the country is safe and stable. BTW, I have enjoyed my time in Haiti (through your lens) I will definitely be visiting in the near future. I really enjoyed Haiti.

I am living in the US right now and from Les Cayes, Camp-Perrin and I am so happy you visited my city.
I haven't spent any time in Port-au-Prince since 2018. I wouldn't recommend anyone visit right now. Even when the security situation isn't bad, it's just not an ideal place for tourists to visit, IMO. Filthy, chaotic streets. That being said, I don't understand the fear mongering in the comments - mainly from Haitians living outside of Haiti. You guys listen to your fearful parents too much.
Not too much on my hometown Aydin but yes I agree the Haitians living abroad are the main ones who fearmonger. And for the most part you have some who have either never been to Haiti or haven’t set foot there in decades.
Those Haitians that have never been to Haiti are ignorant to the max. They’re so dramatic. 😢

If you have time you'll see all the high end stores, fancy hotels, great restaurants, luxurious spas, nail and hair salons, great supermarkets, you name it. Good luck, that's all I can say 🙈🙉🙊

Glad you you made it to to P-au-P.. stay out the main center, go up the hills by the rich ppl. That couple got killed cause they were in Gang territory. Go up to petionville, Taraz , stay out the slums, don’t go to the street marche, use the supermarket.
AT, please don’t go downtown unless you’re in an armored car and heavy security. You’ll be much safer in the hills. May the Most High walk with you in your journey!
