I just want to say thankyou so much for creating this video, am doing a project as part of a badly structured course (or at least it has been thus far), and was given 3 weeks to both learn java and spring boot and create a crud application api, so this video has saved me! It would have been nice to see you implement the try/catch blocks with the other methods, I have tried to do it myself although I am not entirely sure if there actually do anything, but none the less easy to code along to!
@@PrashantSharmaOfficial no worries, I understand it can be a tedious task so I don't blame you, but I think in terms of professional development error handling is good practise, so even if it is boring it's a good habit to get into. It's just one of those things programmers have to do.
when I search for an author name when I have more than one book in his name the api is not returning. (example I have book1 from author1 and book2 from author1)
Hello teacher, I am your student from Turkey. I hope you see my message. First of all, this is the first time I see such a localhost. In previous Crud Examples I was connecting to the database. Why is this place different? Thank you in advance for your help. Could you please help me understand sir?
while we attending a interview for fresher Java Dev and the interviewer tells us to do a CRUD using SpringBoot Framework can we do like this with the help of Postman????????
@@PrashantSharmaOfficial I'm trying to implement it at the moment and am getting errors to do with the Option entity, I have done a bit of reading on line and I think there has been a change to the way either it or the find methods work (I've been trying to learn spring for 2-3 weeks, so still very new), I believe that the id is now an option on an object which is why you have to use the option keyword, however I think there is some more specific error handling which is now required, in-order to not use the option keyword on an entity, which as far as I can tell so far seems to be a better way of doing things (I'm still new and struggling to understand it so could be wrong).
I'm not sure much about where and on which IDE are you currently using it. But, try this - stackoverflow.com/questions/11803948/lombok-is-not-generating-getter-and-setter

Thanks for the valuable feedback. I actually stopped before try/catch as the video was getting longer and I was getting lazy 😅

This is just a small project, I have a few other videos where you can check the full fledged database project for CRUD operations.
Also, no CRUD operations can be done without a database so this project is not different.
@@PrashantSharmaOfficial Thank you for your answer, teacher🙏
its actual source dude, thanks
Most welcome! Stay tuned for more!!

Sure, why not
I don't suppose you have a similair video where you also go through one to many relationships?
Not yet but I'm planning for it.

Hi , for updating why we using post method not put method???
This is just to showcase it's ok to use "POST" in every CRUD operation except "'Get/Read". But, yeah we should always use "PUT" for updating.
Very good one and easy to follow
Make video on junit and mockito
sir My book database is not showing on console please tell me what I should do
Did u got that?

I tried......Thank you so much...If possible can you do a video on react with sping boot authentication?

Dear Prashant, Thanks for Tutorial, but I am getting error "BookController.java" shows error and could not resolve updatedBookData.setTitle(book.getTitle());
updatedBookData.setAuthor(book.getAuthor());
Not able to resolve book.getAuthor() or getTitle() even in book class we have below
@Entity
@Table(name="Books")
@NoArgsConstructor
@AllArgsConstructor

@Getter
@ToString
public class Book {
Hi, getting the same error. Were you able to fix it?
Make getter and setter and remove LomBok Notations for this.
