If you back that nut off to the end of the anchor, you could get the nut off in the future if you ever need to. We use Simpson Strong Tie Titan HD concrete anchors for our installation. You might like them better.

Can these doors be fitted to an existing door frame?

No but, depending on the size of your existing door, they can fit the existing rough opening. The problem with an installation like that is if you don’t do something to fortify the existing wall it is not as secure as it should be.
