THANK YOU!! ✌️👑
This could turn into the biggest RUclips comeback in history!
IKR
Now we are talking. i hope this is the type of content that will come back!
Yup! Tons more in the works
@@TheKingofRandomIs there a link to the video for Grant’s torch?
Yes!
Thank you for bringing us back to the good ol' days of TKOR. Videos like this are the reason I subscribed a decade ago.
This is how it was before the down fall. Thank you to whoever led to this direction
Janae was behind shift in direction. I’m just the lucky guy that gets to be on camera! -Jarom
Steel, copper, aluminum, and silver.
Killing it, brother! What a fun and simple project!
Nailed it!! -Jarom
The only thing I didn't get was silver. I was thinking there were like two different kinds of steel. It looks like the steel that's used is fairly high carbon, but I'm not experienced enough to know for sure.
This man single handedly turned around this channel essentially overnight. Bravo.
You’re gonna make me cry bro! Seriously! -Jarom
LOVE IT... STILL MISS GRANT SOOOO MUCH. It hurts me to watch TKOR without Grant but I love the learning and the science and the DIY!!!!!!!!
We ALL miss Grant, the OG King! -Jarom
agreed
Great easy build. Definitely wouldn't drill them indoors though. That dust is real bad to breathe.
Not going to argue that. I was just thinking about you the other day. Your videos have been inspiring me! Let’s connect! Email me at jarom@tkor.tv
Just learned that Grant's wife, Janae is the reason we have to thank for the channel coming back to the TKOR we loved when it was Grant (and Nate). THANK YOU JANAE - We truly appreciate you making this happen! And thank you to Jarom for being such a great host and reminding us of why we loved Grant and this channel to begin with!
Thank you! I’m going to make sure Janae sees this. She truly is the unsung hero behind this channel! -Jarom
Glad to see the spirit of TKOR is back in the shop. Keep the content coming and of course you have to make some stuff. You didn't go through the hassle of making a forge to not make anything. You've done Grant and the TKOR Originals an honor. RIP G-Man.
This! Has got to be one of the most simple forge builds I have ever seen.
2 Things: 1) I would absolutely love to see you forge different metals. 2) a link in the description on how to make the torch, or an update video if there is a better/easier way.
Thank you so much! Thanks for being awesomely random.
Im actually so glad i didnt unsubscribe. I was really close. Im so glad yall are bringing back the older style of videos back
Omg. I have been away from this channel ever since Grant passed. I'm so glad TKOR IS BACK BABY !!! FINALLY !!
I'm glad to see the original energy of this channel back!
This is going in my favorites. I’m gonna set up a shop when I move in a few months and this would be a cool/useful addition. Thanks for the video I didn’t know I needed lol
I’ve got your back!! -Jarom
Yes, the old TKOR is back baby !
Ya, like “this video has already been made” kind of back… but I’m with it 🤷♂️
@danielturchan4092 better than that face they got thinking she was gonna change the brand..
I'm so happy this channel is back. I really missed the essence of TKOR. Thank you for bringing it back to its roots.
This is the type of content that brought millions of people to the channel.
Thank you
I'd love to see the process of making those pieces at the end!
Noted!
I had a project idea for TKOR: a vacuum casting setup. Be able to 3D print things and cast them in metal without all the mini air pockets you get when you normally cast aluminum. No clue how difficult they are to make, I can't imagine it being much harder than a vacuum chamber lol
More like this, need this fr, so happy this channel may finally be saved
Nice to see that our favorite channal is moving forward ❤
This is the type of videos the channel needs
Grant would be proud!
I really appreciate your ingenuity.
And I appreciate you!! -Jarom
It’s been a while since I’ve watched one of TKORs videos all the way through. So happy with yall going back to the original style! Jarom, you are an awesome host too!
And you are an awesome viewer! Thanks for giving us another chance! I’ll bring you more great stuff! -Jarom
Wow, this is so awesome and simple
Glad you like it!
It would be awesome to see how you made the different things in the end
Noted!
Thank you so much! I’ve been wanting to forge metal for months but the cost of entry was too high at the moment. Going to try this!
Can you tell me how it goes
Havent really watched since Nate and Callie left the show
THIS definitely has more of that original Grant/early days of Nate energy, looking forward to more ❤
Yes! This is what we are talking about! Let the random happen!
i love seeing metal forging.
now this is the content I have been wanting to see on the channel for ages
Welcome back og the king of random
Also worth mentioning, I would like to see this thing in use 🙏
Why does this video have only 50 k views it’s such a good idea
Cool vid! I like this new spin on the mini metal foundry!
I must have missed the intro video for this new guy, but he's genuinely doing a solid job, I like the energy he brings in and some of the recent videos I've caught have a certain call back feel to them that I rather enjoy
Oh I need this!
You made me resubscribe to tkor brother. Keep up the good work, and take your time with videos. Don’t rush.
I watched from the very first video, on a previous RUclips account I was one of the first followers of the king of random. I quit watching when grant died. It’s a heartbreaking loss that still exists. This guy has out of anyone given the most grant worthy content since the passing of grant to date. The flow, the quick, his voice, the style. It flows and speaks of reincarnation of grant and it brings tears to me eyes. Thank you new gentlemen for doing this beautiful thing. I really hope you continue and hopefully more and more support will notice.
This is exactly what I’m here for! Thanks for coming back! -Jarom
grant was the internets bad ass uncle who showed you how to do stuff mom wouldn't approve of and we all loved it
You could also just use @ 1:35 you could also use 8" nails and just put a 1" collar under the head so it only goes 7" down. You coule use something as simple as tape to make the collar. That way they're easier to take out than the countersunk ones.
A link to the gas blaster torch video in the description would be nice. Other than that. Amazing idea for any at home viewers that want to get into this kind of stuff
Nice voice, cool presentation, nearer to the roots.
Much better.
What a throwback
Very accurate to how Grant used to present, terrific new tkor host!
And a really terrific forge design, I would definitely do something like this when I make mine, I'll probably make mine bigger, block off the back side to retain more heat, etc, tweak tweak tweak! :)
You would be right to make those changes! Keep tweaking and let the Random happen!! -Jarom
A video showing how to make a few cool things with this forge would be amazing
Ah yes the king of random is back to the way it should be
Love it! ❤
i love that you bulid i very interesting bulids iove it keep it up man
Glad you enjoy it!
Keep up what you're doing. I think with the traditional style of content, a larger audience will develop again eventually
I actually look forward to TKOR videos again
I really enjoyed this video
Thanks!
Going to be honest not sure who this guy is but he clearly understands the spirit of the channel even being a foundational part of its history and soul and it's beautiful to see it come back do what it was after all these years
Thank you!! -Jarom
Amazing 🤙
Grant must be so proud to See tkor back !
Serious question. You say you worked with Grant? Where have you been, man??
You've brought this channel back to life. We were stuck watching other crap that never pertained to this channels roots.
I feel seriously complimented! The story of how I became the King of Random is a crazy one that I plan to tell at some point in the future. It’s wild! -Jarom
I'll love to see more blacksmithing stuff on here and the types of metal are copper steel and maybe aluminum possibly
Those three are right and there’s one more! -Jarom
Steel, aluminum, copper, bronze. Loving the "new" content. Just like Grant or nate. Love watching the channel again.
So close! No bronze. -Jarom
@TheKingofRandom Thank you for the reply. I was hoping it was an aluminum bronze hence why it was a lighter color than normal bronze. It didn't look "right" to me to be silver. Then again I don't have any personal experience with forged silver. Either way awesome and amazing video and I can't wait for what's next.
Thank you for going back to the roots of what made this channel great. I loved Grant and then Nate forged on with his legacy. I unsubscribed when Nate left once the channel started to sway from what it was. Just resubs from the shoutout from Nate on his new channel. Very excited to see what you have in store!
Still using my center tapped arc furnace and hydroxide gas generator that i learnt how to make from grant years ago will always miss his videos he was a true legend
Hope they bring the merch back. Especially the shirts and project kits. Thank you #tkor
Awesome 🤟😎🔥🔥🔥
Looks like TKOR is back. Hopefull!
I have an idea for you to build. Why not show people how to build and properly use a fractal burning machine in the best way that TKOR knows how to do. I'm currently looking into learning how to make and use one myself and would love to see how you guys approach s something like this.
Bro does not understand the power he hath just given me
Oh yes, yes I do
@@TheKingofRandom I'm gonna get sworn so badly for what's gonna happen next😭 worth it🙏🏻
Oh, we’re kindred spirits!! For sure! -Jarom
@@TheKingofRandom let's go. W I made a mini Katana keychain 🥶
Nice
It's Luke having Grant reborn again
If it's as good as ppl say I hope it gets better grant deserve so much more
Finally a good video
Lets see the video on making the leaf trinkets
Hey Jarom, we all care about you and worry about your health. Please wear a respirator when you drill those bricks.
Thank you! It’s a bad habit I’m going to fix. It’s easy to remember my respirator when the fumes are noxious… I’ll do better! -Jarom
Finally the old ways are back
Hello, is there a full tutorial on chrome plating in this channel? If there is, please send the video link and if not, please make a video about this topic, chrome plating of metals.Hydro Chrome Training. #hydrochrome
We have a proper TKOR project???? Please keep Mit on this track!
Made giant ones from broken concrete blocks outside but didn't have a gas torch and only had firewood.
Wonder if I can get the bricks you got as well as a gas torch...
I went to a place that sells fireplace supplies for the bricks. $4-5 each -Jarom
Steel, Iron, Copper (or copper alloy) and the white one is probably Pewter or an alloy that contains tin.
The first three are right but the last isn’t an alloy. -Jarom
File, the perfect nail sink
😂 I know, right? -Jarom
Good content again! It is back to the origen. Remember about SI (metric) units. There is humanity outside US as well. 😊
Ha! Yeah, that’s gonna take some getting used to… I’ll do better! -Jarom
Yes
You don't even need any of that. Can use clay and sand with coal and a bello for air flow and you're done.
This could save a lot of time for basically melting or reshaping metal but maybe block the back but also have small air hole so not a lot of heat escape but since your using propane or gas based heating that wouldn't be much of an issue i guess😅
You’re totally right! I mentioned to get some extra bricks but I forgot to explain that using them to block off the ends a bit was why I said that. 🤦 -Jarom
First video i ever seen from tkor.i subscribed rt away.looking forward to more videos.thanks bro.
You are amazing
A simple coal/charcoal forge would be great.
Legend
Finally some interesting tkor content!
iron, copper, alluminum, and brass
Aluminum, Copper, Steel and Iron. Leaf video please.
Close!! Only off by 1! -Jarom
We are so back
I know Steel and Copper and Aluminum I think the third is either silver or nickel
Right!! It’s silver! -Jarom
Please make a video about it Hydro Chrome Training #hydrochrome
You can tell this channel is legit by the brand of battery tools they use... Lol
I'm going to make mine out of Lego's. LOL
Oh my, I think I need to do that too!! -Jarom
And copper steel aluminium and iron
So close! Only off by 1! No iron… -Jarom
Try to make food in it like an EZ Bake lmao
Oh snaps
Right?! TKOR coming back! 😤
Why not use mortar? Alternatively, mark the bricks by side and position. Otherwise, you'll have a mess if you take it apart.
Mortar would help, I was just keeping it really simple. And I marked the bricks later, so sorry I didn’t get that in the video! You’re totally right! -Jarom
It's not About breaking the drill bit It's just the dust from the material you have drilled blocking the hole it happens with 98% of Materials that u try ro drill
It's about both. He knows what he's talking about when it comes to drilling fire brick lol
You’re not wrong but I certainly noticed it was far worse with the moisture in the bricks. I broke two bits making the prototype and both were wet inside. -Jarom
@corrpendragon I'm not saying he doesn't but as Someone that did two years at college Ceramic floor and wall tiles and 2 years carpentry then had Ceramic floor and wall tiling Business for 7 years I drilled a lot of holes in wet stone and Ceramics
