THANK YOU!! ✌️👑
So much better the last pre recorded grant video was phenomenal and this made me so happy seeing his son do what his father loved. This guy should be the honorary king of random
Prince of Random?
Prince for now, but as succession goes he shall be king when he is ready.
Definitely future King. Crazy how much this feels like having Grant back. Of course it’s his friend. Had to be.
@@mr.silver5476love your confidence in me! I won’t let you down!
This is bs where is grace
i hope this kinda content comes back for good. the old content after nate left felt like 5 minute crafts or any other content farm. good job on the video and i hope you all the best
Seeing this videos title immediately got me excited to watch again! It's so wonderful to see Jaymen (who looks so much like his dad!) continuing Grant's legacy. I've been subscribed for over 10 years in his memory, even though I never watched the content after Nate and Callie left. Jarom gives a great first impression and I look forward to seeing more! I'll always miss Grant's voice though.
Trouble is its just a gimmick to drag the kid in there.
Our Science Saturdays were deeply inspired by Grant Thompson.
We melted metals and cast them.
We made a solar focusing fresnel lens frame.
Bought and built a cryo-cooler for LN2 production.
Gutted dozens of microwaves for transformers for several projects....
Made salt from sodium metal and chlorine gas...
and many more great experiments..
Good memories. 👍
Thanks to GT once again, your legacy is shining bright...❤
I have been a subscriber to this channel for over 10 years, and I just wanted to say I am excited to see this new era of TKOR, it looks like it is headed in a great direction!
Same!
Same and I agree!!
better than grace lmao
First time in a while I was excited to watch a TKOR video.
It did not disappoint.
Comments like this are exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you for giving the King of Random another chance!
@@jarommoroni1 To be fair I was here the whole time. I just didn't always watch them all. TKOR is one of the first 10 channels I subed to with this account. I'm staying. ;)
Much much much better, I think all of us OG followers agree this is the direction TKOR was meant to head in after all!! Thanks for acknowledging our comments and feedback, it’s shows a lot!
Congrats, Jarom! This is the content this channel needs 👏
Thanks Claire!!
Jarom ... fun to see you here! Keep up the interesting content!
Please continue making this type of content like Grant's original content thank you so much. Very glad to see his son taking part in the video.
More to come!
If this is the direction TKOR is going, I really like it! I prefer the more hands on projects and messing around with different materials to create stuff, much like the old TKOR. Well done!
Jarom has gotta be one of my favorite people I know, hands down. Cant wait to see what he does next.
Thanks brother! I appreciate you!
This is what TKOR was about thank you for listening to the community. No hate towards the decisions that were made I am sure it would have made a great channel on its own but the problem was it didn't feel like TKOR. Thank you and I am excited to watch again!
This is better than avengers end game. I've been here since grant's first videos, and seeing 2nd gen is blowing my mind. Especially with a back-to-roots project. Awesome.
Brilliant video! Very excited for the new era of TKOR! 🎉
I'm delighted to see this. Awesome video. I was a really big fan of your dad's RUclips channel and dedicated many Science Saturdays in his honor.
This is the beginning of a great new chapter. I'm on board to the end...
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎉🎉🎉 this is so exciting! So excited about TKOR going back to its roots!
Can't wait!
Thank you Grace! And thank you for the heart and soul you put into the channel! Glad you’ve got your own gig going now! It’s going to be great!! 🎉🎉
Thank you to the moon and back. Thank you for listening to us. Thank you for bringing back the experiments and DIY projects that represent what The King of Random really is.
I'm so happy I couldn't describe it. I watched this channel since 10 summer party tricks. Grant made me fall in love with exploring and learning how things work and now I'm studying engineering.
I just have one small request. Since the old stuff is getting back, PLEASE restock and promote Grant's book. Now it's perfect time for it.
All the best for new host and the team!
#StayRandom❤
Wow! Thank you so much for your comment. It means the world to us. I’m sorry that you haven’t been listened to and we are doing our best to gain the trust and love back from our core and quite frankly the people that we should be calling family.
We will look into the book, because you’re right, now is a good time for that.
Thank you so much for the response. Thank you for caring what we think. Grant always replied to the community in the past when he had time and I'm glad to see you are doing it with this change.
I really hope the true fans and people who supported Grant will recognize this and bring the viewership back where it belongs. I will share it with everyone I know for sure.
Glad to know that you liked the idea for the book. As an international member of this community I just wanted to ask you guys to maybe work something out with international shipping, since shipping from Amazon is really expensive (around $80 USD in my case unfortunately) and I know people from overseas would love to buy it too. All love and support!
Yes! Please show the whole process!
We’re back boys, this time I’m an engineer. Thanks for the inspiration and fun projects.
YES! Like at least one other commenter here, I went from regular viewer to a subscriber out of respect for Grant's memory. If this video is indicative, I will definitely be moving back into the former category. Thanks for a great video, and absolutely yes I want to see the full video you teased at the end.
Congrats! Can't wait to see you in future videos.
Thank you!!
Can’t wait to be seen!
best video since Grants Passing (may he rest in peace). Jaymen should ultimnately take over the channel, but i want Jarom in most videos till we get there, his style is similar to our late Grants. Seems really knowledgeable. great video
THIS is the kind of stuff I subscribed for many years ago. very excited to see the upcoming content
So pleased to see this going back to original style content - thank you!!
This video is definitely a return to form, it felt like old school tkor
Jarom, my brother! Super excited for you. Officially resubscribing :) love ya, shorty! ❤
Love you too, brother! (Even if you’re too tall…)❤
Excited to see this change up. I would love to see this full video!
Love to see the old style of videos back.
I like the direction and style of this video is going, almost a back to grass roots. That said I also understand from a business perspective why TKOR changed the way it did given the circumstances of how YTs algorithm was forcing content creators to do thing to maintain a viable status. That said, I absolutely love that Jarom is taking a kind of Bill Nye approach with breaking down the more "Sciencey" aspects into easier to understand concepts and also explaining how to do things safely while letting Grant's kid do the work. It touches on most if not all the main ways of learning. All in all a good video. I look forward to what's to come
Thank you!! This was the goal!
A change in direction has been long overdue.
I'm glad I never unsubscribed while I wasn't watching the videos this channel put out. This immediately feels like something Grant would've done, we're really going back to the roots. Now I can actually say that I'm excited for the future of this channel again.
Way to go King!
This is more what got my into the channel in the first place. Grace was a sweetheart but it was the DIY scientist stuff that made the channel so great.
Love this vibe for this video.. cool stuff that you can’t always do at home!! Also Jaymen is adorable!
I am so happy! T-T, One thing I've always been curious about was Lathe metal work and I was wondering if you guys had any DIY projects involving one?
Great video! Fun and informative with a calm atmosphere
Glad you enjoyed it!
thanks for what I hope is the first of many great videos. I stopped watching since the quality had bottomed out. Also great to see Grant's son involved. This is what the channel needed!!!
More to come!
Genuinely a good video!
Oh my! TKOR is back!!
I have been really happy to see the channel going in this direction again, and I really hope it continues. I used to watch Grant every day and I would always get super inspired to start working on my own projects, after Nate and Callie left, I lost that inspiration. This video reminded me what it felt like watching Grant's videos all those years ago. From an aspiring engineer, thank you.
You’re very welcome. Grant is my inspiration every day. I miss him. What a champion! I’ll keep bringing the awesome if you keep watching! -Jarom
Yes! Of course we want to see the full video!
love this glad we get more of grant style vids
More aluminum forging that looked cool and fun
Yes more please, I havent been a fan of the recent TKoR content since Nate left, this right here is the type of Vid I have been looking for.
Great to see The Prince of Random! Would love to see the full video.
Way better than it has been content wise, maybe a little lighter on the music, but great compared by far!! More of this please!!!!
This is so exciting! With more of the original style of video I'll now be resubscribing and watching consistently
Perfect. The family line contiues
Good to see you, brother!
You too!
I'd like to see you forge Aluminum!
😂😂 I can totally acknowledge how excited the kid was to show off the super hot metal rod but then my dad side kicked in and all I could think was how badly that could have gone 😅
Loved watching this!
Thanks Lori!
iv had a pretty bad day and this tbh has just made it alot better, thank you!
Glad to help! Keep watching! We’ve got more where that came from!
Oh happy to see this on my suggestions. Gonna keep looking at your page again.
Hey, can you make a video about molds for casting?
TKOR is back. Great video!
Welcome back!
To be clear, I really like Grace, and hope she is doing well, and finds a great outlet for her creativity.
@@davidhealdjr.513she’s doing well, just as she deserves!
What happend to grace? Is she no longer the host.
Grace is still working behind the scenes with me. And she’s got her own channel now! Constantly Curious. Go check it out! -Jarom
First tkor video I've watched in years because the content was like 5 min crafts not actual science with real physics and chemistry... That being said I really liked this video and will be watching it with the kids!❤
I would love to see you guys make a miniature catapult
That sounds awesome!
I kinda wonder if this could be done with popsicle sticks…
The idea of the video seems pretty interesting.
Keep it up!
That's the plan!
Yay! This is more what this channel is about.
I subcribed again, this new content is awesome!
Grant RIP. Your legacy goes on.
Would love to see how to "forge" a D20 die that has 20 sides so it would be a bit more difficult to do, and id love to see how yall go about doing that. 😊
This is much better. Yes I would like the full video.
This is the best thing any of us could ask for, definitely a step in the right direction, the Grant legacy lives on!
Guide the young Prince Of Random well. Full Sails And Happy Trails!!!
This has hopefully restored my faith in this channel. I've re-subscribed, and I hope I didn't make a mistake.
You've made a great choice! I'll prove it! Just keep watching!
Is the disclaimer in the beginning related to how Grace just started her own channel?
Grace is fantastic and has great content, it just didn’t fit the King of Random. So, yes.
awesome, loved it. thanks for this, lets like this video so that the other diyers can see the newer KoR content!
I know I am just repeating what other comments are saying
but this is definitely the type of content I subscribed for
hands on fun
messing around with materials
DIY projects
keep going in this direction
I'd love to see a full video of making the dice!
I’m excited for the future of the channel! Nice vid
Sweet Video, I really enjoyed it. 😊 looking forward to more
More to come!
Challenge accepted!!
Id love to see more forging aluminum
Yes, specifically for aluminum forging plz : D
This might be the biggest comeback story ever
Just keep it real 💯
Yes, please show how to forge aluminum. I always end up breaking it whenever I try to do that myself.
Keep watching! It’ll be coming in the next few weeks. -Jarom
Nice! metalworking is always cool.
I'm excited to see how this channel is continued by you!
This is what we need more of
SOOOOO Cool! I love that the little guy got to help. The shattered pieces are AMAZING to look at! Are they really sharp? Thanks for the great video. So glad they found someone awesome to do King of Random!
Only sort of. It’s amazing how soft it is when it’s heated like this. Not that you can’t cut yourself, but it’s super bendy too.
I got old King of random Vibes from watching this. please let this person run the channel from now on.
I’ve got your back!! It’s me from now on!
what happend to Grace? but im happy to see the torch still go on
Grace is still working behind the scenes with me. And she’s got her own channel now! Constantly Curious. Go check it out! -Jarom
@@TheKingofRandom that's fantastic! Thank you for the heads up
So nice to see a prince of random in the video
HOLD UP, JAROM?? Since when were you on TKOR???
Since today!
@jarommoroni1 That's awesome dude! Gonna be cool to see You in videos
This guy is awesome!
Finally stuff to watch the whole reason I liked this channel 😊
So good! Love the new host! Can’t wait to see what you put out next!
Lots of great stuff coming your way!!
I had hope when the last host took over, but it just all came apart. To be honest, I hadn't watched any TKOR video's since I guess Sept. The video's just were sub par. This new host gives me a good feeling once more.
Love this comment! I’ll be bringing you some great stuff! Keep watching!!
I wouldn’t mind seeing the die being made
Grant i wish you the best🎉
Rick and Morty vibes 🥲
He looks like the kid from home alone in the picture with the dice
Definitely post the making of the die video please. I might be able to subscribe again!
Call him the Prince of Metal Forge
Aluminum forging sounds awesome
Definitely want the full video
yes please more DIY projects. The past year the content has been going downhill. We love hands on projects that we can learn and do it ourselves which is the reason why we subscribed in the first place. Hope this keeps up.
