This was SO well made! Been listening to Ado for a few years & had no idea about her background! Gonna go listen to some songs you mentioned I’d never heard before & now really hoping I can see her live someday 😍✨
Discovered her voice with the film One Piece: Red and i was shocked on how good it is, i have some problems with loud noise and i feel terrible when its too loud, but that day, i was just enjoying and almost tearing up on how good it felt to listen.
Big props for the video! A lot of great facts and it really shows how big of a fan you are. The only thing worth mentioning (in my opinion) you didn't include in your video or your pinned post would be the amount of songs used for live action movies and dramas, instead of animes like how it is with most popular and successful Japanese artists. It's not only Himawari and Aitakute, but also Missing and Rebellion (theme and insert songs in the movie "Karada Sagashi" with Hashimoto Kanna), Ashura-chan (theme song for the last season of the very popular drama "Doctor X"), KokoroToIuNaNoFukakai (theme song for the drama "Dr White", starring Hamabe Minami, with whom she apparently became good friends), Yoru no Pierrot (theme song for drama "Hatsu Joji Made Ato 1 Jikan"), Dignity (theme for the movie "Chinmoku no Kantai" or "The Silent Service" which has a star studded cast) and All Night Radio (theme song for the stage play “Ano Yoru de Aertara”).
@@goosebumpsradio Thanks! Theoretically pointing out the main focus of my comment, that it's unusual for a Japanese artist to be featured a lot more on live-action than on anime, would also be enough. But maybe people watch some of the stuff that's on Netflix (or some other streaming platform) because of it, so I don't have any problems if you list them one by one and get the viewer numbers up a bit so their entertainment business maybe, someday, stops ignoring everything outside of Japan ;)
I have only discovered Ado maybe 2-3 weeks ago, and I was pretty much shocked by her voice. I first heard New Genesis, and I immediately knew I have to check the rest of her work. Had no idea what I was in for. Now, I just can't stop listening to her. And then I read about her, and I am in awe. Seriously. Thanks for putting this video together, you've done a great job! And it came at the right time, for me at least. :)
Been following Ado for years now, it's so incredible how fast she grew. Had the opportunity to watch her live and it always baffles me how strong her voice is. I'm really excited to see her fanbase grow and hope to be able to attend her next tour as well 🙏
In my life now I've been to quite literally hundreds of concerts. The Ado concert in LA is in my top 10 concerts I've ever been to. It sucked that Brussels ruined certain things for the concert but it was so nice to be able to be at a concert and not everybody was on their phone.
I've been a Shiina Ringo fangirl since 2000, and as soon as I heard Ado a couple years ago I immediately recognized something in her. Finding out that Ado is a fan too really clicked for me. I just love her so much, her range and willingness to do different genres!!
Great video, bro. I like how you mentioned only the important parts in the main portion of the video and kept the more nerdy stuff for a separate part. You also managed to keep it interesting throughout the whole video and I love how you used the instrumentals from Ado's songs as background music. Work on your Japanese pronunciation a bit and it's gonna be perfect next time.
If anyone is interested in finding out why Ado is as amazing as she is, there is a guy on RUclips called Chris Liepe who does a phenomenal job analyzing, explaining and recreating the things that make Ado so good.
What an incredibly inspiring story. I did not anticipate the amount of motivation I would get from watching this, nor would I have ever guessed Ado was a year younger than me from how mature her vocal range is. Absolutely amazing.
thanks for the information and for the songs too i was recently listening to all ado songs and wanted to know more about her as a singer you really helped a lot bro thank you
Good video mate. Well done ;) Recently discovered Ado out of nowhere, and then got recommended your video. This was most interesting and insightful. Keep it up!
Good video in terms of coverage, research and presentation. But you need to work on your pronunciation my dude, I've never heard japanese get butchered as hard as in this video xD Japanese pronunciation is very easy, you just read and pronounce every single syllable by itself and then chain it together -> "Ka wa i ku te go me n", "E i e n no a ku ru hi", theres almost no nuance to that rule. I know that other languages make pronunciation confusing and that causes people to expect japanese pronunciation to be weird as well, but it's really straightforward.
I recently discovered her, she's really talented and I love how the artist and singer found eachother, the visuals are perfectly complimenting the songs 😊
I just found Ado through her RUclips where she does karaoke(?) with her friends and thought "that's so cute, but wow can they sing"! You're video made me realize I apparently know her from Useewa and that yeah, other people think her singing is pretty good too! xd

I recently watched his God-ish analysis and I learned a lot of singing stuff from that vid alone
i love that you included the reaction to her live show XD i think that was one of the first ado clips I'd ever seen (aside from music) and it really humanized her and made her relatable ^_^
Always love to see people talk about Ado! She's easily become my favourite singer since I discovered her back in 2022. It was really magical visiting Japan last year to see how popular she is and hearing クラクラ playing in the streets of Shibuya
Great video! First Ado history/biography video I have seen and it was very high quality.
I never heard of that Mafumafu tribute album. Thank you so much! More Ado songs for me to enjoy.
Everytime I find a video that revisits her story, it makes me cry of happiness a bit. This video is beautiful and very in depth. Thank you the work you did here!
hey, great video!!! glad to see more people, not japanese, talking about Ado's trajectory. also, thanks for the mention. i'm not a singing expert but I did my best to share the great things Ado does, not only with her voice :3
I got into Ado's music a couple weeks ago and i've been wanting to watch a good documentary on her. Thanks for making it^^
Honestly, this is the single handedly the best video on Ado I've seen, you're honestly really underrated and I hope you succeed on your goak of 1k subs man, cheers!
I discovered Ado only a bit ago, and I think that this video was really well made and it also helps a lot more people to discover her. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Thank you for this. Ado has become a huge inspiration for me over the past couple of years. She is one of the most unique singers I’ve ever heard..💙
This is a beautiful video on Ado. It was very organized and informative. It had so much stuff that even I didn't know. Thank you! I hope this gets a lot more views and congrats on hitting the 1k subs, you deserve more.
I saw her live in Chicago and she was incredible!
So much love for this video! I adore Ado...so talented, unique and catchy. As a musician, I am in awe of her. Thanks for making this video!
Thank you for providing all of us with a helpful summary to what's known about Ado. Covering all these topics and rounding tehm up in a easy to catch manner is very admirable, please continue to make more helpful videos as such.
Very nice video! Deserves alot more views then it has!
instant respect for saying: "i cant give you the explanation on the vocal techniques she uses, but these people can" HUMILITY IS AWESOME
Dude this was a banger vid underrated fs, thank you for this
Great video! As someone who loves Ado's music, it was very enjoyable to watch a documentary about her!
"I hope we`ll reach 1000 abos by the end of the year". Congrats for this milestone after just 3 days !!! This viedo must have been so much work. You did a good job covering all the Important stuff about ado and why we all love her.
Dude it is crazy I’ve never heard of Ado before. Just gave her a listen and she is amazing.
Thanks for the dope video and sharing something you like.
I was lucky enough to get a ticket to one of her Wish World Tour concerts, she is an amazing singer live, truly a life changing experience for me.
Ive only recently found Ado on Spotify and now ive seen this video pop up on youtube. It's rather nice hearing the back story of how she started and what her goals are. Looking forward to seeing new stuff from her in the future!
Ooh, no comments? On such a quality video!?!
Thanks for pointing all of these out, I will add them to the list!
I listen to her music but I didn't know much about her. I didn't think she was that young. Crazy
Her live performance of Unravel literally brought me to tears. She is such an exceptional artist with an amazing vocal range
2 years and i still get those goosebumps from her songs
i had no idea who Ado was, but you did a great job with the title and thumbnails, stayed for the whole 25min
Thanks, glad you enjoyed :D
I've been a Shiina Ringo fangirl since 2000, and as soon as I heard Ado a couple years ago I immediately recognized something in her. Finding out that Ado is a fan too really clicked for me. I just love her so much, her range and willingness to do different genres!!
banger video but you know what else is a banger? ALL OF THE ADO SONGS RAAAAAAAAAAAH
You put together videos really well dude, appreciate the effort - you deserve more subs for sure, keep it up!
Thanks :)
Great video man, keep going!
I've been a fan of ado since like her debut and I'm so proud to see how far she's come
Chocolatcadabra is so funny, Hey lets have a legendary studio and a legendary singer make a candy commercial.
Getting to witness Wish live was amazing, and I am so looking forward to her next world tour
Incredible video keep it up
listening to her before Ussewa the rediscovering her once red came out was a trip but stan over and over
ADO IS THE JAPANESE GOAT! ADOMINATION!! 💙💙💙💙
Earned a sub, thank you for the video
This video got me to fall into a new musical rabbit hole. Good job
This is a really good video!! I really love Ado and her music and I hope more people learn about her!! 🦷🦷🍠💙💙
Amazing video. I’m a big Ado fan and while I knew most things you covered about Ado, there was still some small little trivia I didn’t.
19:19 one small insignificant correction, that is not a "lesbian" tv drama, it is queer-bait only straight couples get together.
Thanks for pointing this out! I'll put the correction in the pinned comment
@@goosebumpsradio Thanks, hopefully other people won't get their hopes up like I did.
Thank you, will do!
such a great vdeo! thanks!
Thank you for explaining about ado. I now know what I didn't know before.
wow really great work with the vid, for such a small channel. Love Ado, keep up the work bro.
hay thanks for the video,, that binks sake ado version made me tear up,, thanks for introducing this to me! ! !
great video!!!
If anyone is interested in finding out why Ado is as amazing as she is, there is a guy on RUclips called Chris Liepe who does a phenomenal job analyzing, explaining and recreating the things that make Ado so good.
I’m so blessed to have caught her in Chicago, even though I live in California 😂
such a good documentary for the goat
A minute in and I’m questioning how this has 303 views rn
20:08 wasn’t expecting that lol
5 days later, it has 64k
I love this video🤩 thanks you so much!!
Good job on the vid! Thoughts on Sleep with Sheep cover?
I listened to it a few times and I really like it! I'd love to hear her cover more gentle songs.. gotta check out more of her vocaloid covers
What an incredibly inspiring story. I did not anticipate the amount of motivation I would get from watching this, nor would I have ever guessed Ado was a year younger than me from how mature her vocal range is. Absolutely amazing.
Yooo i love ado im so happy shes becomeing more well known around the world
thanks for the information and for the songs too i was recently listening to all ado songs and wanted to know more about her as a singer you really helped a lot bro thank you
To be honest Japan hasn't really changed their Music...what they did in 80s 90s and early 2000s is still the best which made us Jpop Fans like
Good video mate. Well done ;)
Recently discovered Ado out of nowhere, and then got recommended your video.
This was most interesting and insightful.
Keep it up!
Thank you!!
Good video in terms of coverage, research and presentation.
But you need to work on your pronunciation my dude, I've never heard japanese get butchered as hard as in this video xD
Japanese pronunciation is very easy, you just read and pronounce every single syllable by itself and then chain it together -> "Ka wa i ku te go me n", "E i e n no a ku ru hi", theres almost no nuance to that rule. I know that other languages make pronunciation confusing and that causes people to expect japanese pronunciation to be weird as well, but it's really straightforward.
Thanks for letting me know. I did google the pronunciations, but yea they're really bad looking back 😭I'll improve that for future vids
I recently discovered her, she's really talented and I love how the artist and singer found eachother, the visuals are perfectly complimenting the songs
😊
heard of her 1-2 year ago and cant belive where she is now
I just found Ado through her RUclips where she does karaoke(?) with her friends and thought "that's so cute, but wow can they sing"! You're video made me realize I apparently know her from Useewa and that yeah, other people think her singing is pretty good too! xd
This video has pushed me to listen to more of Ado.. I already liked the few songs I listened to so I just know I'm bouta become a fan.
