    Stemming is a game changer! There are so many ways to use the wall if you are creative enough.

      I couldn't agree with you more, Matt. The key is to have it in mind to always look at the wall behind you for an option, and not just get stuck looking at the next hold.

    I did this all the time without knowing the name. Until a route at my gym specifically said "no stemming" :(

      That's an awful way to find out about stemming 😶
      I'm really glad you figured out this powerful technique though. It's definitely one of my favourites.
