Toward the end of 1966 Hugh Gibb the father of Barry, Robin & Maurice sent a packet of material to Brian Epstein in England with hopes that Epstein might work his magic for his boys like he did for the Beatles. Epstein passed the packet on to Robert Stigwood. When Stigwood heard this and other Bee Gees songs he was on the phone to Hugh Gibb in Australia. The rest is history!
