Awesome! Thank you!
My bloody god I’m addicted to trucks, and driving. The only games i have on my PC are truck/bus simulators such as Fernbus and ETS2, and roblox, i have over 600 model trucks (collected over time), and ive driven a Scania L320, a DAF XF105 and a Scania R580, and ive driven a R35 Nissan GTR, Audi R8 V10 Plus, a Nissan Note SE, and we own an R35 GTR. I’d give a bunch to be driving that lmao. It’s my dream to truck all over Europe and that’s what I’m going to do someday whether me parents like it or not. My dad hates the idea of me doing anything other than working in an office, and my mum just generally doesn’t approve. I couldn’t care less about what they have to say about my career. That’s what I’m doing and there’s nothing they can do about it. No idea why I’m dumping all this here but oh well, enjoy 😂
I am glad that you have got a passion for driving, especially trucks :) I got that too :) I play sometimes ETS 2 too :) I think you felt good driving all that :) I know how you feel mate as my parents have had the same idea about me. They wanted me in a black suit costum doing office work easy peasy lemon squeezy but I love driving, seeing places, people, a little bit of a challenge :) is nothing that compares with driving trucks isn't it? :)
@@RobertMihalache exactly. Exactly. My dad owns a big Bitcoin broker company, he formed it himself. As much as I’d like to work with him (i dont want to work with him at all) i’d much rather be at the wheel of a truck than at the wheel of my mouse 😅
It's nothing else comparable with driving trucks isn't it
These are roads I use all the time!Nice to see a pov of my area thanks for sharing
glad you like it 😁🤝

@@RobertMihalache Nothing Robert. You explain things very clearly. It lets people know how interesting your day can be. UK road haulage is as busy as it has ever been.
As older drivers retire; younger drivers come through.
The UK will always be dependent on road haulage.

Brilliant video mate just starting out on CPC course for 7.5 Ton then into class 2 hopefully
well that's a good decision mate. Good luck out there. I have had some 7.5t jobs paid as much as being a Class 1 driver. So if you're chasing the money you will be surprised, but of course loads of manual handling and driving. Good luck pal
Passed my class 2 last week starting a job next week. Quite nervous now, not the driving so much but the taco laws and all that bullshit lol
@graham just go straight for your class 2 mate don't waste time and money on just 7.5t.. you're covered for up to 32t then bro

i was confused about those Fresnel lenses too... i fugured its that weird thing that is sometimes on the passenger side window, it distorts the view so you can see the blindspot at a 45 degree angle.
Sometimes they are good sometimes they can be a pain..totally agree with you

Thanks man.. I did my class 2 last year.. One question.. When you are being unloaded. Do you put your taco on other work or rest ? ( If it is unloaded for you or you have to help or unload yourself.. ) Cheers, good luck ..
You are more than welcome. Thank you. Well done for passing your class 2.
If I have to unload then it will be on other work. If I am getting unloaded without me doing anything I can either stick it on brake or period of availability or other work is all depending on you. Never stick it on brake and work in the same time. Kind regards. Cheers.
Subscribed when you started singing about the fact that it was Monday 😄😄
Haha thanks mate Apreciate that :-)
Hi Robert when you do multi drop
Is the paper work in order of the drops or do you have to work it out yourself.
Hope you can answer my question for me my first job on Wednesday
Cheers Graham.
Hi. it depends from company to company 👍

Been thinking about becoming a HGV driver, and this video has been really enjoyable to watch. It's gonna be a while before I can get behind the wheel. I only ride a motorbike, so I still need to get my car license! Haha
Go for it!
Brilliant video. Had to turn off tho, my travel sickness kicked in 🤣
thanks for your time 😁
passed my class 2 7 weeks ago have been turned down for jobs as no experience interview today looks promising. Video was great made things a lot clearer.
Hi mate thanks for your feedback. Have you tried on agencies? You might be able to find some agency work as there are plenty jobs now
Start with agency 7.5t to get experience first then that company may take you permanent on Class 2 after 12 weeks. With good payrise. Make a good CV and make it viewable by employers
Keep trying and better yourself
Is the work for class 2 employed or self employed? And what wages can I expect (currently waiting to re-take my hazard perception test).
Class 2 employes PAYE. Depends on the are on UK I would say as an average 10£/h would be a good start but if you would be able to get more that I am more than happy for you mate.
your good to listen to, watched whole video,
Thanks a lot for your feedback. Wish you all the best
What an amazing bloke!
Thanks for your feedback. Kind regards.
Great video! I’ve just done my medical and looking forward to the rest of the process for class 2. Now studying for the theory. I have the old acquired rights on my licence so I think I can choose between doing classroom or practical for my cpc. I’ll probably do the practical test.
Thanks for your feedback and I wish you good luck in your HGV Career. God bless.
I'd recommend doing the class room 35 hours if I had the choice, the cpc is tricky enough classroom lessons is the easiest option in my opinion
So if you have grandfather acquired right's you do not need to do the 35hours in classroom. Just the practical test?
I just passed my cpc a few days ago I phoned up today to find out if I had to do 35 hours and they said nope I just gotta do my mod 4 and that's it. I don't have grandfathers rights I'm only 32. So as far as I know if u do your cpc mod 2 and mod 4 that covers you for 5 years
@@danozman1695 it doesn't matter I don't have grandfather rights. I thought I had todo 35 hours of class room but I don't I passed my mod 2 a few days ago I am booked in for my test in October. As long as I do my mod 2 and mod 4 that covers me for 5 years then after the 5 years its 35 hours of class room
Cheers mate!
No worries!
During walk through checks, do you need to open the back and check how secure load is strapped.?
Load security is one of must-do check in the vehicle report defect book. It's very important to check the load, load restrains, overloading, axles, suspension, etc.
What do you recommend sat nav or use hgv app for road ? With thanks.

Hi Robert
I'm a newly qualified Hgv Class 2 driver and looking for job.
Even there is driver shortage getting a job isn't easy. Over a couple of interviews but still nothing. Better to ask a agency for help or go private?
What is your thoughts about this?
Thanks
You can better either way, depending on your needs. A decent agency can be better than a rubbish company and the other way round. Take care buddy.
you will find the drivers how speed past you at trafic lights will be a little bit further up the road with a blue light behind them.
if that has not happened then you will see them at the next set of lights behind a Que
:)
Hi there,

Stay safe Best wishes.

Thanks 👍 More to come.
Everytime when he talks at the end he says "yeah" lol
yeah 😂
Great videos it has given me more confidence in taking my Class 2 again after few failed attempts. Quick question Gloves is very important to reduce injury, who provides them to you, Agency, employer or you buy them yourself?
Good to know that my videos can make someone confident in doing something. Thanks a lot for your feedback. If you do work with the agency then you have to get it yourself from shop, but sometimes if you ask nicely for a pair of gloves you might get them from the company that you provide services to. Good gloves are above 5-10£. Not cheap.
ROBERT MIHALACHE Thanks I work for agency will try and ask employer
ask nicely and you might get it. If not buy a pair of gloves.
Enjoyed the video, it give me an insight into driving for a living. Sub’d 👍

Thank you so much mate! It's just sad that they have to enter in all this lockdown again isn't it? I have booked my Class1 course for 1st of February but I guess will get canceled too unfortunately. What lorry did you drive on your Course and where was that?
I drove a daf and I trained at elite truck training in chingford you will find the class 1 easy to drive until the reversing because its opposite steering but once you get it you will never forget it
interesting vid, nice one 👍
Thanks a lot for your feedback. Kind regards.
Well done Robert

I'm currently doing teacher training and hating it do to being very stressful. I am thinking about quitting and getting HGV training. Is it also a stressful job? Or do you enjoy it? Thank you
Go for it!
How do you record a video and what device do you use?
with care and camera
I haven’t even got my hgv license yet, and I knew you were in a daf from that bloody bonging noise 😂
Yeah that’s the one and only DAF 😂😂😂
Do you like the job. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a hgv deriver, how is the pay. Are you on long haul or just doing multi drops? Sorry for all the questions. And good video
Yes I like the job, is not too bad.
One of the advantages is that you are out all the time and you can see a lot of places, people, businesses, machineries, technologies.
Another advantage is that in this industry is a big demand in hgv drivers so anytime would be a job there somewhere.
Another advantage is that you can relocate anytime anywhere keep doing the same profession.
Another advantage is that you are 99% your own boss.
Another advantage is that in this workplace you can listen to music, talk to your friends while on handsfree, you can have your own freedom.
Disadvantages : health issues due to stand on chair 90% of the duty time, lots of energy loss due to focus and concentration while driving, lost of sight in time, higher risks of collisions or accidents, bigger fines and penalties than other road users, being alone most of the time while your friends are spending time togheter having fun, working loads of hours as many businesses would require you to do so, hygiene issues as you would not be able to keep 100% clean during your activity at work, and the list can continue. Anyone can do this job, but this job is not made for anyone as a long term choice.
Thank you
