It is easy to miss in the music video because it comes in right after the part where they are messing with the crowd mimicking them, but Eminem start his verse out with "I've got a couple of mansion, still I don't have any manners." Always loved that double. He is rich and lives in a mansion/manor, but he doesn't have rich people manners, he is real and savage and won't be polite to kiss someone's ass, he will speak his mind. Great stuff, keep up the eminem reactions man!
To be fair, if the man in question is even saying it’s not. Then you gotta just admit it wasn’t that good Even if YOU liked it, sorry to tell you, many who isn’t an Em fan? Didn’t like it. Same with Relapse, he had to take that critique and do better

I totally agree. In terms of craftmanship and the message they put out there I think Relapse & Revival are on par with his other stuff. Nevertheless I can see why people give him shit for those two albums, because it's not the style from EM we - and I - are used to and fell in love with. You may not dig it, but it's top notch rap with deep meaningful songs.
@@amanSpawn00 no he didn’t. He said he took an L on it cos it only sold 3 million, never once did he say it wasn’t good. Actually, he used this album (Kamikaze) to respond to the backlash and said people pre-judged it by looking at the track list. He also questioned why people told him to grow up a bit and get rid of Shady, then he released a personal album and it got critiqued before it even came out. Hence this album being dropped with no promo and tweeted “tried not 2 over think this 1” and has dropped every album since without any warning. Critiquing Relapse is just silly. I love this! They both rap so fast and so smoothly!! I especially love it when Joyner Lucas is throwing in his Spanish because the whole entire language of Spanish is so smooth!
I work till the wheels fall off, I working tirelessly.. - Sums up his career, the man never stops writing skemes. His work ethic is what makes him one of the best ever.
This was ABSOLUTELY FKN DOPE.. for a specific reason.. because you can see and understand the matrix that is complex rap. Soo.. it’s a COMPLETELY different reaction!! You’re seeing it from a point of view that took some of us 5 times to hear and even be told. Like about the song structure.. the drums.. the offbeat.. the bells . You get it and watching your appreciation for the work put into the track is a breathe of fresh air. RESPECT!!!
The symbology of all the clones copying everything that they do is hidden until they start goofing off and reveal it. That's amazing concept work to accompany a banger of a song. Representing the fact that they set the tone and blaze the trail for what everyone else does in the game.
Loved this reaction! Super entertaining! Not Alike or Fall from the same album would be great to get your take on. It’d also be really interesting to get your take on a couple of tracks from Revival (the album that got ‘trashed’). I’m not a big fan of some of it but there are a few tracks that I think are some of Em’s best writing. Eg Castle and Arose (you need to do these together - you’ll see why if you react to them). Walk on Water is another great track where he literally poured his feelings out - only for people to say it was awful. I think a lot of people’s issue with Revival Is the ‘bland’ production at times and the fact there are a lot of mainstream ‘pop’ centred features on the hooks eg Beyone, Pink, Ed Sheeran etc. Really excited for your Em journey!
I've been saying this since it came out. I've had ppl tell me the production was trash but all the beats hit. Lyrically he still kills 90% of the rappers out now. There might be a couple songs that's fun but not great but then he has others that are so good, plus he's speaking on real shit. I think his white audience got mad cuz he was talking about Trump and other black people won't even give him a shot just cuz he's white.
He is harder on himself than any critic or fan could ever be. He will always point out flaws to be relatable 1st, and drop bars to be the best as an artist 2nd - that’s humility
I love the way there trying to say everyone is copying them , or how eminem is saying the exact opposite from what joyner said in the beginning. great song
I’ve watched your reaction to this a couple of times and I love it! But just had a thought - it’d be great to get your take on a couple of tracks from Revival, the album Em was slated for! Your thoughts as an MC and producer would be really interesting. Your reaction to Walk on Water would be great, Em essentially bared his soul on that track, all his insecurities etc and it got sh*t on! I really liked it. Also, Castle and Arose contain some of the best writing of his career, really emotional - but the correlation between the two tracks is fire!! You need to do both together, you’ll see what I mean! most people won’t let a guest come in and match or outshine - he let Joyner SHINE while also matching Joyner’s flow, but also saying ‘you might want this, but at what cost?’ it’s honestly one of Em’s complete bodies of work, that shows off all of his strengths, which is, well, everything.
