Got to be one of the best GFs in recent memory. High standard, lots of great goals and highlights. Up for grabs until late in the last quarter. Well done North Adelaide.
Regardless of how you feel about the Roosters playing (I'm an Eagles fan and I'm not that angry, really) this was one of the best state league Grand Finals of the AFL era, for mine. Absolutely fantastic game!
@David John Just like Norwood in 1982 Second Semi Final. The SANFL could have taken the 2 points North scored with the 19 men on the ground and they only win the preliminary final by 3 points.
@David John That was one of the myths peddled about the 19th man saga. Initially it was reported that North had 19 men on the ground for 5 minutes whilst 1 goal 2 was scored. They actually had 19 men on the field for 3 minutes 38 seconds whilst 2 points were scored.
Fantastic support from both sets of supporters, created a great atmosphere. Just the wrong team won !😁 I couldn't believe that some of North's goals were the most luckiest I've ever seen. I can only assume they happened because of a huge amount of confidence, they played very well.
That's not a bad effort is it. From last to finishing 5th at the end of the minor round. Then to go from an elimination final to premiers!! Amazing!! Pretty good standard game in front of a bumper crowd. What a day! Congratulations to the Reserves as well.
How I can buy full footage film by digital pass ? I have DP but it too pixels before it disappeared off by the end of September ? I want keep copy forever. Will there be DVD or something ? Thanks
Port and Norwood dominated the SANFL forever, its been refreshing in the last couple of decades to see the Eagles, Dogs, Bloods, Double Blues & now Roosters take home the cup.....Your turn next South or the Bays.
Norwood didn't dominate forever. They dominated in the 19th century with 11 flags. In the 20th and 21st century Sturt and North are nearly as successful as Norwood.
To all these losers on here (and bitter Norwood fans who thought theyd just roll up and take it) calling us cheats, look whose got the Premiership and its not tainted in any way baha

Even though some ignorant people are calling them ‘cheats’ This was a well deserved win. I’m proud of them.
Played their young hearts out from bottom last year and 5th place this season. Undeniable!
yo cant blame the players, and they are the ones who win Grand Finals
We’re not cheats, Norwood thought they had it in the bag that’s all there is m8

When a club wins a Premiership from the Elimination Final, its a brilliant achievement.
It's a great great club. Congrats Roooooosters!!!!!!
And the club we love!

Only because port have joined the AFL. They would still be dominating otherwise
@@mharro88 you can't say that because we will never know.

The Bays are now a part of them

Poor old Robert Oatey
Somebody needs to tell the redlegs to pull up their fucking socks.
Always be an asterisk next to North Adelaide's 2018 premiership.
Questionable if they should've played after having 19 men on field in the Preliminary Final
Who cares? lol
only to a bitter person such as yourself
This is digital pass. You cant continue with THAT commentator.
Cheats
