When I hit my hands move with my hips and I lose power. Do you have any drills for having your hands follow your hips instead of your hand and hips moving together?
try to work on deliberately swinging your bat in your yard or somewhere to where your hands come first. do it as much as you can and it’ll eventually adjust. don’t get fixated on it tho, because then it can screw up the rest of your mechanics. hope this helps!
