Niiiice. I got a Pro-Tune from Drunkmann (Dmann) for my 2016 Hyperblue STi last year and so far, so good. He put a burble tune on mines as well but haven't used it yet because I heard I would need to run an aftermarket downpipe so I won't ruin the cat. Not sure the case with the VB WRX.
hmm this is very insightful. I was told from him that I should be okay to run the “burble tune” with all the components I had at the moment. Possibly is different from the STI. Currently just running the regular etune and then flashing the burble when there’s car meets haha
There's no rev hang on the 2022+ WRX's.... I have a 2023 WRX on the stock tune and mine has zero rev hang.... And I'd notice the rev hang if it was there as my previous car had terrible rev hang and it's one of the reasons I got rid of it....
@wrxtuans Oh. Ok. When did you feel the rev hang? Was it while shifting gears? Just wondering where I honestly don't notice any. Not trying to sound like an arse or sound like I'm trying to argue. I'm just genuinely curious as I had a 2020 Honda Civic Si Coupe before my WRX and the Si had tons of rev hang and it drove me nuts. I don't notice any in my WRX.
i have dmanns stg 1 93 with a Perrin intake and his burble and I haven't been able to make it pop like that. I get pops on aggressive gear changes but not revving in 2nd like that
yo ! it also depends on your exhaust set up. If you have a resonator / mufflers , then it’ll definitely suppress the pops and burbles. In this video i think i had no mufflers !
What's your exhaust setup? When I got the Dmann OTS tune about 6 months ago I asked if I can get the burble add-on they said only with a custom tune. I'm going to reach back out and see what they say now
Im currently running the remark non resonated mid pipe with boso axle backs ! On his website he kinda specifies how its more of a rev hang delete than a “burble tune” . I think if you really want a true burble tune you would have to get a custom tune . If you dona rev hang delete, he should be able to just update ur map

i see i see. In my opinion i could feel the rev hang more after doing the rev hang delete . Considerably more noticeable

What do you do when you rev it and it pops like that? Are you just pushing in the clutch and reving it?
the car is rolling and I just clutch in and rev and find the bite again haha

how much was the tune all together ? thinking about tuning my car with dmann
if you have an accessport already, it should be around $150 for a regular e-tune. With the Rev hang delete, $200 total ( $50 extra ) !
