Congratulations to The California State Team Champions Trabuco Hills and also the coach! They absolutely did put the nail in the door! I wish they would have interviewed the whole team but these two beautiful girls led the charge. Great up front racing by Holly Barker (MVP) and Millie Bayles (most improved) but what a monster race by Anna Desormeau with an 8th overall finish and almost catching Buchanan's top girl. Sophie Guilfoile almost caught Buchannan's 2nd girl and ended 12th overall. The freshman, Evangeline Williams, sealed the deal with an impressive run which was capped off by a massive sprint to the finish line. The 3, 4 and 5 girls sealed this win. Let's carry this momentum to NXN and show everyone what The Mustangs can do. With 3 of the top 5 girls returning, they can repeat next year.
These 2 ladies are no-joke...er? i mean? not joking around i meant 2 say. They have been schooled in the forbidden-knowledge of the cross-country etiquette... ha ha... the secret scoiety of the winner-cult i mean, god bless em.... these 2 even smoked my little ol rylee.blade & we all know that rylee is quicker than a prairie-fire with a trail-wind ....
