I may hate on the super serious for a lot of things but one thing it's been doing that I found interesting is making its antagonist actually heroic you can kind of say it started with universe 6 while some on the team like frost and hit were evil to some degree we were introduced to cabba who was a straight up good guy. Then the tournament of power happened and we were introduced to the pride troopers and while they were a bit extreme they were ultimately hero's of their universe. In the broly moive while paragus harbored deep hatred for vegeta to wanting revenge no matter what broly wasn't as vengeful as his father was hell cheelai and lemo both saw that he was just a kind hearted man who only was taught how to fight something he didn't really like. Then the super hero movies came out and we got gamma's 1&2 who were hero's to the core but was told a lie about who the villain's really were
