I was not excited about the house flipping at first but I love the mix of the shopping, selling (more comps please) and how you put the money toward the house. EXCELLENT mix of everything! Thanks!
I 💯🙌 Agree, has to be a lot of work, but, I think in the end it's going to be a Win Win for themselves and the Channel!!!! Keep up the awesomeness!!! Good that you guys are still filming all of your own content and keeping it Real!!!
Did you know you can remove sharpie from some surfaces by writing over the top of the sharpie with dry erase markers? It might take a few times going over the top and wiping it off, but it works pretty well!
Haha I just love you Haley when you told Josh he didn't have a place on his face. You made me laugh. I love that you two are so young and get along with each other so well. Our Anniversary is March 24 and we will be celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary! I can totally see you two in 45 years! I live in upstate SC and there is Habitat restore that sells brand new home building supplies. Its in Greenville but you can save enough money to make the drive !
Haley, I had never mowed a yard in my life until I was probably about 30 and I got tired of my husband putting it off and letting the grass grow up. So I finally told him to show me how the lawn mower worked and I mowed the yard. As long as I wear hearing protection, I don't really mind doing it. It's kind of meditative, actually, riding around in smaller and smaller circles. Like a zen garden. I have a good think while I'm mowing. We later moved and the current yard is much larger. I'm probably mowing 3 - 3.5 acres now. With the old mower, it was a 3.5 hour slog. But my new mower is faster and turns much better, so I think I'm down to about 2.75 hours. It does get tiresome after the first hour, though, so I tend to mow in one or two sessions. I'd still rather mow than do dishes, though. LOL.
Haley, you have become such a pro on camera. You're so natural and comfortable being yourself. I think it's just awesome how you've progressed in such a short amount of time. You go girl! Loving the house flip videos.
Josh & Hailey, I'm totally loving these videos even more than ALL the others. Don't leave out the repairs! Also hope those dogs can be trained to not bark during the selling stage.😂😂😂
This $20 house flip series is awesome. Love how you show what you buy to flip. The comps on the items & what sold. And then what you get to put into the house flip. Nice that you always keep a decent amount of $$ back to put towards sourcing more flippable items
I think it's just awesome the way you and Hailey are selling your stuff to flip this house!! No borrowing from the bank saving interest!!! I can only imagine the hard work you guys have put into that place so far!
I think those puffy stickers are from The American Wrestling Association based off of the characters involved. Was big in the 70's and 80's. Those pins are going to be GOLD!!!
Sharpie on glossy cardboard: I use a drop of Acetone applied to a rag and a gentle rub. If you use too much, rub too hard or apply it directly to the product, you may dissolve the finish on the package along with the sharpie. Try it on the least valuable item first, to get your technique down.
Best thing to have with you to get Sharpie marks off is Rubbing Alcohol. I've gotten lots of markings off of packaging and other surfaces without issue. Paper and cardboard just needs a surface coating on it. My GWs used to mark everything "new" with sharpie.
Pretty impressive with all that manual labor/construction... Harry Tornado Reseller and Builder... who knew! Great video guys and I am a little jealous of that church sale!
Super finds! Doing a great job on the house flip, keep up the good work. Haley, 😅😂 when Josh ask if he had a mark on his head, and nope was the response. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
Josh, my husband has been renovating a house as well. He gets a lot of the items he needs by sourcing from HABITAT, market place (especially tiles since many people bought too much or changed their mind). His favorite are dumpsters at new sub devision sites. It does't pay for builders to store wood they didn't use or doors that didn't fit - so it is free
There is a product from a company called melaleuca and it's called solumel, that one will take any permanent marker stains on just about anything. U can also add a tiny bit on wash and it works wonders and has no chemicals.
Hi really enjoy the videos… Watched today’s video about the Church Rummage Sale & heard your mention the writing on the products you purchased $0.10 cents a piece. Try rubbing alcohol - put a spray nozzle on a rubbing alcohol bottle - spritz lightly on to sharpie marker and wipe off w a paper towel or microfiber towel. That writing should come off easily without damaging anything. Good Luck. God Bless!!
You may be able to remove the written on prices with a little bit of waterless antibacterial gel on a tissue. And just dab lightly so it doesn't overwet the cardboard. Another great video guys!
My husband & I are in the process of fixing up a house (to eventually live in). Lots of work, but you save so much by doing it yourself! I'm glad you have your handyman buddy Dean to help from time to time or to get advise from. We are fortunate that my husband has background in home improvement & we have previously built a home & helped other family members build their homes as well.
12:03 I use to own an all toy resale shop. WD 40 or vegetable Oil will get Sharpie off of most surfaces including cardboard packaging. Rub lightly. Love y’all!
Last church rummage sale found a damaged framed stamp and used it for postage. I saved a little, but not much else. Those buttons! Died and gone to heaven! My nephew would have also died for those Urkel things! You scored, scored & scored!
Depending on the kind of paper (if they're glossy, waxed, or untreated - they're probably glossy so it would be fine) acetone will take permanent marker right off. Nail polish remover works a treat.
I wish there were rummage sales in my area like that. Happy you are getting more money for your home. Alcohol will remove the sharpie on those that are marked.
Use a dry erase marker over the Sharpie, to erase it and not damage the cardboard. It typically removes it all but may leave a partial residual but it will be better than it was
Mr & Mrs HT I'm really enjoying these videos. You work extremely well together. Josh is there anything you can't do?😊 Hailey your looking amazing. Thank you both.
Josh and Hayley! Thanks for taking us to this amazing church sale ! I really appreciate you both so much!so much stuff to see ! I seen a new kids on the block pin so awesome ! The house is finally coming around as far as fixes go ! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!
Lets be honest here, that's probably the best church sale I'VE ever been to! WOW! Love that you guys put a good chunk of money into the house fund from that. I'm really enjoying these videos as well, not just the resale aspect but the actual technical stuff of flipping a house :)
Hailey, you might consider lowering your seat belt from the door frame adjustment. It might be more comfy and safer over your shoulder than near your neck.
I wish I could find deals like those here ... I haven't found many deals like those in many years here. We don't even have outside flea markets, church sales, yard sales here though until at least June for a couple months and thrift stores many times just like to overprice stuff here unless you get incredibly lucky. I never hear of any estate sales either. It doesn't help though that I have to travel everywhere by foot or bus though and my funds are a lot tighter. I think it's amazing seeing the great deals you find though.
Being a shut in is so hard. I love your videos they let me shop with u both so much fun..the last video Hailey had on a hamburger shirt loved it. Enjoy your days. You really help me
My recommendation would be not to say in a publicly available video for a house you plan on renting or selling that you do not know what you are doing while renovating it. *The More you Know*
"Hailey do I have a mark on my head?" "No, your good" She is such a great addition to your channel!

What's wrong with house flipping?
@@ksv0509 nothing wrong with it. I admire those who can do it. I did not think I would enjoy the content - but I did! 😀
@@de66iekw gotcha lol yeah it goes really well!
‘You looking like a snack’ 😂😂
Crazy great haul guys! Loving the series, and all of you content of course. You two are so fun and lovable! Keep it up!!
I hope this series gets y’all to 500k subscribers. This is soooooo fun to watch!
Did you know you can remove sharpie from some surfaces by writing over the top of the sharpie with dry erase markers? It might take a few times going over the top and wiping it off, but it works pretty well!
Good idea! Worth a try!
Also, just use nail polish remover. Takes it right off!!
The dry erase marker over the sharpie.

@Joy Brock Hey girl!
Hi Guys - to remove the sharpie - either write over with another sharpie and wipe off immediately or use rubbing alcohol.
Y’all are awesome together, love seeing how Hailey has opened up and totally herself now……
Haley, I had never mowed a yard in my life until I was probably about 30 and I got tired of my husband putting it off and letting the grass grow up. So I finally told him to show me how the lawn mower worked and I mowed the yard. As long as I wear hearing protection, I don't really mind doing it. I was literally about to say the same thing.
you can try using a dry erase marker over the marker then wipe it to get the marker off. I know it sounds crazy but it usually works.
Josh & Hailey, I'm totally loving these videos even more than ALL the others. Don't leave out the repairs! Also hope those dogs can be trained to not bark during the selling stage.😂😂😂

WOW What a Great sale, so many cool items. Prices were excellent. Congrats you guys 😊 Wonderful items

Best content creators out there. Love you so much (always like when you say that to the pup :))
Mose... Love you so much!

Same method should work on the buttons too!
I love going to Church sales - such great finds! I like these videos where you show you actually working on the house. Thanks!
Remember when she use to be shy? Loving her outgoing personality ❤😊
This series just gets better and better! I love seeing the progress of the house and the subfloor looks fantastic! Good job Josh!
Best thing to have with you to get Sharpie marks off is Rubbing Alcohol. I've gotten lots of markings off of packaging and other surfaces without issue. Paper and cardboard just needs a surface coating on it. My GWs used to mark everything "new" with sharpie.
I came to the comments to say the same thing! I use it on almost everything to get prices off without issue!
Ok those vintage items on the cards are SO COOL! Awesome finds.
Church rummage sales are my very favorite - I wish there were more! But then I couldn't keep up with listing.... Good job!
Love your generous heart Josh!❤
Pretty impressive with all that manual labor/construction... Harry Tornado Reseller and Builder... who knew! Great video guys and I am a little jealous of that church sale!
I love this series! You are really showing us how we can better things for ourselves without breaking the bank! 😊
I rly liked that video one of my favorites over the last yeahrs, hope u do more sales like that, we dont have in germany anything like that sadly.
You guys did very well. It is obvious that the good Lord is blessing your business.
Hey love the channel! Would love to see a video on how you set up and run your whatnot auctions!!
That camcorder is nostalgic for me! All of my family home videos were filmed on that exact type of camcorder. Loved the video!!
Tip when items are priced with sharpie marker use nail polish remover to remove the marker
Also very proud of the both of u! Blessings always ❤
I love that you're doing the house videos with us. I admire you so much for taking all that on. Yes, RUclips has videos to help you do anything!

Love the burger and fries shirt!!

Church sales are the best!! Have you tried using a magic eraser on the marker?? There is a good white pencil eraser that works as well!!
Looking forward to seeing more progress on the house flip

Last church rummage sale found a damaged framed stamp and used it for postage. I saved a little, but not much else. Those buttons! Died and gone to heaven! My nephew would have also died for those Urkel things! You scored, scored & scored!
Great progress on the house, you 2 are amazing!!! Loved the great finds.
Wow! Good for you guys. Fun to watch you guys.
try rubbing alcohol on the marker,it has worked for me. Love the videos. Keep up the good work!
Depending on the kind of paper (if they're glossy, waxed, or untreated - they're probably glossy so it would be fine) acetone will take permanent marker right off. Nail polish remover works a treat.
Permanent marker can be removed with alcohol wipes / hand gel, worth a try on some of them
The power of Whatnot and a following. Great flips there. Keep up the great work guys. Where's Mose?
Really can’t wait to see how the house turns out love the videos on the house
I'm sure if you use a little hand sanitizer on a rag you can wipe off the sharpie. On whatever items you think it may affect the value of.
You guys are hitting it out of the ball park! Good to see Josh working, and the 2 of you will have a great house to flip.
OMG what an amazing haul! Did you have any wrestling pins/badges at all?
Great video!! I love the variety in this one!! Keep being amazing!!
Try using hand sanitizer on the marker prices. Haley, you are rocking that burger shirt. Love it
I wish there were rummage sales in my area like that. Happy you are getting more money for your home. Alcohol will remove the sharpie on those that are marked.

I saw on another channel that sometimes you can write on permanent marker with a dry erase marker and it can come off. (it may work on the cardboard)
