It is in fact completely from the comic. Which came out way, way before modern Multiverse fatigue. The way it is used sparingly in the comics is smart and always in service of raising the stakes for the characters we care about. You will not be disappointed!

This is straight from the comics. Angstrom is a huge nemesis for Mark, he’s an amazing villian!

Bulletproof's costume is the one Mark rejected at the tailor's.

Yeah the show is extremely faithful to the comics, which makes sense since Kirkman is involved quite a bit in the show's production. They sometimes re-arrange things in terms of when they happen but not really in this case with Angstrom's introduction. For reference the Omni-Man beatdown ended in issue 13 in the comics and Angstrom's intro is Issue 16, it opens the same way too with showing the evil Mark with no context for the reader that it's an alternate reality.

Like many others already have said this comes straight from the comics, where Angstrom Levy was introduced in issue #16 (which came out in 2004).
This is the next big arc after the Omni-Man one and the way the multiverse is used is not quite similar to what we've seen with other franchises.
Those have a big amount of fanservice and with that sometimes the story kinda gets lost in the sea of references and nods, but that's kinda what happens when you have a franchise that has had many different iterations of the same characters over the years.
Invincible doesn't really have that without including the comics (but I doubt they'll do something with that).
The multiverse is something that is woven into the narrative in a way that helps the characters develop and progresses the story organically. And besides being Angtrom's power, it isn't overused.
It's just unfortunate timing that the multiverse became so popular lately (although many other franchises have done it way before the 2020s like DC/Marvel comics in the 60s, TMNT, Ben 10, etc.).
Just wanted to reassure you guys that, if they're following the comics closely (which they've been doing for the most part) then you'll have nothing to worry about injecting unnecessary stuff to the narrative, like many other multiversal stories.
Sorry for the long rant! Hope you enjoyed it tho!

I think the multiverse eve is going to be used somehow. I don’t think he kept her alive just to keep as a pet. Her powers are too valuable

The scene with Mauler? We saw it, just didn't make it in the reaction cut. Probably should've left it in.
