I got mine off eBay
Good class thanks
Great review. I bought a Fast Tach a few years back and paid too much for a brand name.
I've been wanting one for a while but wasn't going to pay $100+. Glad I found this one for $45
Stihl 036 Idle rpm 2500 max rpm 12.500 to 13.000
So if it doesn’t 4 stroke at max rpm it’s okay to run and leave like that? It seems like using a lower rpm and having 4 stroking sound is going to cause extra carbon build up.
Yeah the stihl saws especially benefit from tuning the max/recommended rpm’s. And I can’t hear the 4 stroke with them when they are 500 below max. You leave power on the table for sure. You’ve got to get the saw hot though. Otherwise it will lean out further and could cause damage
If you are not 4-stroking on the high end, you could be lean. Ideally, it should be just rich enough that it 4-stokes when free revenge, but cleans up in the cut. Carbon buildup will be a non-issue tuned like this.
Bought one, works very well. Can’t figure out how to turn it off???
I think it was long press on the button.
Husqvarna tac 102 to 154 bucks
Stihl tac 80 to 115

I paid $45 for the proline solo. Really happy with it!
