i booked toyota fortuner on 8 feb 2017 in jodhpur... ford endevour is best but not reliable and qualified as fortuner.... fortuner great

Here in the Philippines, the Fortuner is also a best seller, you'll see A LOT of these new models and it's predecessor! Same goes with the Ford Everest (which is called an Endeavour in India), and the Montero Sport (Pajero Sport).

New Fortuner indeed looks 'Lexus-y' but it's no match to the bold and brawny Endeavour, which adapts that retro, macho and modern SUV looks flawlessly!

I'm gonna buy an SUV but am confused between the fortuner and endeavour. I plan to keep it for a good 8 years and resale should be good. The car should be niggle free and should give me a peace of mind. Please tell in detail about which car to go for. Endeavour or fortuner. 8 years. It should serve me well.

Faisal, super review. Straight forwardly you showed the negative and positive things of the SUV. Practicality, the new Fortuner misses a lot as a premium tag, even it misses out on second and third row mobile charging point or USB ports. Even in under 10 lakhs now cars comes with additional power ports. I dont know how in New Fortuner with single mobile charging point near the dashboard passengers will be travel for long distances. Half baked product from Toyota just thinking Indians will buy anything if it has Toyota name on it.
