      I'm not fluent but here's my best attempt;
Once in a small town there lived a woman called Barbara.
Barbara was known throughout the land for her abnormally good rhubarb cake
Yes, you could say that Barbara's rhubarb cake was (without ifs or buts) an almost magical experience.
      Abra Kadabra!
      Well this cake was bombastic!
      And the demand rose drastically!
In the very same year, Barbara opened a bar which she called "Barbara's Rhubarb Bar"
In the city there was also a couple of Barbarians, who had heard of Barbara's rhubarb cake
And because, from then on, they visited Barbara every day,
People soon called them the "Rhubarb Bar Barbarians"
In the following years the Barbarians left behind their barbaric ways bit by bit
They were, according to Barbara, almost as nice as Barbapapa
But the Barbarians were very hairy,
And all had very straggly Barbarian Beards
      (Not striking at all!)
Therefore Barbara sent her barbarian friends to a Barbarian Beard Barber.
He cut the barbarian's hair, the whole head, In his barbarian-Beard-Barber barber's shop
He was a terrible prattler [hard to translate], but their beards were totally tiptop afterwards
So the Barbarians invited their beard barber to the rhubarb bar after his work was done
They drunk a beer at the bar together, the rhubarb bar barbarians and the beard barber.
And every barbarian ate a piece of rhubarb cake there (I think it was two!)
Yeah, even the toughest men became approachable there!
And everything thanks to Barbara's Rhubarb!
Three Barbarians and the Beard Barber! Sat at a bar with a beer one night! The police came along "well where have you been?" Three Barbarians and the Beard Barber!

@JackWop Even I, a native Speaker, think this is absolutely amazing.
      This is the english version:
Once upon a time in a small town,
There lived a girl named Barbara, renowned
Throughout the land for her insanely good
      Rhubarb pie - people understood.
Yes, one could say that Barbara's
Rhubarb pie was truly, without pause,
A downright magical treat to savor,
      Abracadabra!
Well, this pie was just too fantastic,
And the demand for it became drastic.
In the same year, Barbara opened a spot,
A bar, and named it "Barbara's Rhubarb Bar" on the dot.
In the town, there were also a few brutes,
Who learned of Barbara's Rhubarb Bar pursuits.
And since they were there with Barbara each day,
They were soon dubbed the "Rhubarb Bar Barbarians" in play.
In the following years, these Barbarians,
      Gradually abandoned their barbaric plans.
Barbara claimed they were, in truth, quite charming,
Almost more so than a morning yawning.
But these Barbarians were hairy and grim,
All sporting a shaggy Barbarian's brim (not very prim).
So Barbara sent her Barbarian brood,
To the Barbarian Beard Barber for a mood.
This barber even trimmed their heads so neat,
In his Barbarian Beard Barber shop beat.
Though he was quite the chatterbox, no lie,
But their beards were then perfectly spry.
Then the Barbarians invited their barber friend,
To Barbara's Rhubarb Bar, to extend
      Their gratitude, sharing a beer,
The Rhubarb Bar Barbarians and the Beard Barber dear.
And with no sense of barbarity,
They ate rhubarb pie, not with severity,
I believe it was more like two or three,
Yes, even the toughest men found camaraderie.
Three Barbarians and the Beard Barber, bright,
Sat one evening, drinking by the bar's light,
When suddenly the police did appear,
"Where were you?" they asked, with a leer.
Three Barbarians and the Beard Barber, sincere.

What's fascinating about this is that the word for "barbarian" came about because the Greeks and Romans thought foreigners sounded like "ba ba ba" when they spoke, and the term was usually applied to people from the northern regions of Europe, where they wore longer hair and beards. From that we get words like barber (referring to beards) and even the name Barbra, meaning "wife of the barber" or "foreign woman" depending on who you ask. But here I am, listening to this song in German (a language I do not understand) so it's come full circle for me, sounding like, "ba ba ba" just like it did for the Greeks and Romans.

I had to know the English lyrics, so this was the best I could do:
Once upon a time, in a small town, there
There was a girl named Barbara.
And this Barbara was all over the country
known for their incredibly good rhubarb cake.
Yes, you could say that Barbara's
Rhubarb cake without any ifs and buts
    It was a magical experience...
    Abera kadabera!
Well, this cake was absolutely amazing!
And the demand for it increased dramatically.
    Barbara opened that same year
a bar and called it “Barbara’s Rhubarb Bar”.
There were also a few barbarians in the city,
they had found out about Barbara's rhubarb bar.
And since they were with Barbara every day from then on,
They were soon called the rhubarb barbarians.
In the following years the barbarians left
little by little they begin their barbaric behavior.
    They were, Barbara claimed,
    almost more likeable than Barbapapa.
But the barbarians were very hairy
and they all had shaggy barbarian beards. Not special at all!
    Barbara then sent hers
Barbarian friends to the barbarian beard barber.
He even styled the barbarian's entire head
in his barbarian beard barber barbershop.
Although he was a terrible talker,
But the beard was absolutely perfect afterwards!
The barbarians then invited their beard barber
After the work is done, head to the rhubarb bar.
Then they drank a beer together at the bar,
the rhubarb barbarians and the bearded barber,
    and ate without any barbarism
a piece of rhubarb cake. I think there were two.
Yes, even very tough men became approachable,
and all thanks to Barbara's rhubarb!
Three Barbarians and the Bearded Barber
We were sitting in the bar one evening having a beer.

    In seinem Barbarenbartbarbierbarbershop

Bodo wrote the lyrics (re-wrote and expanded on a well-known tongue twister) and Marti produced the music track.
They're both musicians and comedians, Bodo does piano cabaret and Marti does parodies on popular songs and also does a series on music production and theory.

Yes, you could say that Barbara's rhubarb cake was a magical experience. Aberakadabera. Yes, this cake was absolutely bombastic and the demand for it increased drastically. Barbara opened a bar that same year and called it Barbara's Rhubarb Bar. There were also a few barbarians in the city who had found out about Barbara's rhubarb and since they were with Barbara every day from then on, they were soon called the rhubarb barbarians.
