Another cracking episode lads, your podcast keeps me going, my family has had the worst year of our lives, but listening to your podcasts keeps me sane, thank you
One of the highlights of Kiddy harriers brief tenure in L2 was Trundle strolling around the pitch for Swansea not breaking a sweat, and being the best player by a mile. Legend.
We loved LT at Wrexham, I remember his first 5 goals which were outstanding. The season we were promoted he didn't get the recognition, glad he had such a great career, top man.
What a TOP TOP bloke Lee Trundle is and always has been. I don't know him from Adam and I've never met him but he just always comes across so grateful for the fact he was one of the lucky ones who was good enough and worked hard enough to forge the career he had playing the game we all know and love to the level he did. Deeply appreciates everything it gave him and obviously is aware that somewhere along the line luck must of played its part as well but just yea man salt of the earth guy. Just hope he's still involved in football someway because I can only imagine his knowledge and thoughts on the game would be a great asset to anyone looking to employ him.
@@marklerwill5829 I was a big lad playing football, played up top as a big target man. It used to drive me mad when they wouldn't play it to feet so I could do my best Jon Parkin, lay it out wide and then want the header hahahaha 😂
Lee played 5 a side with a gang of us in Kirkby a few years ago. Just an indoor court. He was ridiculously good and I looked forward to playing against him every week. A really nice lad as well, no ego whatsoever.
Absolutely superb episode lads...Lee Trundle what a player and what a man!!!...Used to luv watching him on the showboat on Soccer AM...Wish him all the best for the future and wish the game these days had more characters like him in it!!!...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great podcast guys 😄👍 what a legend Lee is. It's a shame he never got called up to Ireland 🤷🏻 I think he would of been loved here and probably of been good for his career to.
As Bristol City fans, we could always see there was a clash between Gary Johnson & Lee Trundle. Lee scored a couple of cracking goals, early in the season against Scunny and we were bemused that he was kept regularly on the bench when all us fans knew he should be starting. We lost in the play off final that season after missing out on automatic on the final day. I'm still convinced that Lee had been played regularly in that side, we would have gone straight up automatically.
Played against Lee in the Welsh leagues , scored a hatrick 1 was a 30 yard screamer and he told me where it was going as he placed the ball, I was in goals 😂

He was on Crewe's books and travelled by car with Dale Adebola from Liverpool. Unfortunately, Lee couldn't get out of bed early enough on occasions and was released by Dario!
Andy Robinson didn't play for Neath. He was with Trundle at Ammonford though. Kris O'Leary did and Chris Jones and Kerry Morgan were the other ex Swans at the time
Please call Bristol City BRISTOL CITY, NOT BRISTOL. There are 2 teams in Bristol: Bristol City and Bristol Rovers! You have called us Bristol many times. Thank you!
Johnson's career showed he had a big fish in the small pond attitude. He never signed many bigger better players. It was clear he could've cope with them.

100 percent , been through some stuff the last year or so, this podcast makes me feel better and I actually look forward to it
Lee Trundle was an absolute baller these youngens dont even know
Totally agree. A character in football which very rarely exists today. Just an everyday guy and very underrated in my opinion.
@@Ozzy87 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Great to see Parky on form again. Been a while. The Lee Preston for Wales genuinely had me laugh 😂
Love the clip when he rolls it down across back, turns an volleys an you can hear the Welsh commentator scream TRUNDLEEEEEEE

This was a proper player. Peaked too late for my club Derby to have any real interest, but what a joy to witness.
Parky looking Trim at the beginning!! The spinning is doing him good.
nord vpn is about to be replaced with diet pills
I saved a pen from Lee 2 seasons ago when he was playing for Ammanford, he’s still got it fair play
I remember watching him playing for Chorley a long time ago. You could tell where he was headed!
Played against Lee in the Welsh leagues , scored a hatrick 1 was a 30 yard screamer and he told me where it was going as he placed the ball, I was in goals 😂
Loved lee trundle when he was playing at Rhyl FC🏴top bloke
Outrageously talented player.

What an absolute legend I bet he loved a little lemo aswell 😂😂
Football nostalgia this. Great episode! Lee trundle in his prime was absolute quality.
Brilliant listen. Excuse my ignorance but who are the others aside from Lee?

Great episode again. Parky and other one back on form, feel like brownie carried them for the first few this series. Keep well fellas
Hated it when Donny played against him! What a player, surely best player to never play in Prem.
Grew up watching magic daps from the north bank at the vetch, a true club legend and a top top bloke. YJB!

“I love DVD’s” 😂😂😂😂
Boys have came back with some serious podcasts again this year . Continue to be best football interviews in podcasts
Some player remember waiting for him outside the ground as a 14 year old kid when he was playing for Southport

Very interesting insight into Gary Johnson's management style.
What a fucking player.....naturally talented.
Get billy whitehurst on any chance
Roberto Martinez best football I’ve seen Everton play in last 20 years
Was thinking about this guy the other day the goat 1:17 of league 1! Swindontown
The Stoke thing probably comes from Swansea and Stoke both being SCFC
Old Magic Daps himself, a really nice bloke.
The Championships Gazza/Rooney all rolled into one.
Trundle was pure class . I even got the Trundle hair cut back in the day haha😂
I was a neutral at the game against Carlisle and he was unplayable and what a goal as well he was one of the best players I've ever seen on a pitch
reluctantly I have to agree even though i was on the receiving end😭, hated him after that game but can't deny he was a proper talent.. Prick 😂
What a player. Gutted he didn’t get more playing time at Bristol City, fans loved him shame about GJ
Great watch 👏🏼
I played for Neath in the youth setup before the club signed Trundle and Robbo…
Andy Robinson didn't play for Neath. He was with Trundle at Ammonford though. Kris O'Leary did and Chris Jones and Kerry Morgan were the other ex Swans at the time
A cross between Kevin Nolan and Jeff Brazier
Soccer Saturday legend. Haven’t listened to the first 5 minutes and I’m buzzing for this one.
I love DVDs
Nice one. He comes across as a top fella.
Not stuck up his own arse like Mark Hatley proper bloke
Gave up on that 10mins in
What a weapon you are.The man played at possible one of the most stacked Italian league
So boring to listen to he was even he was a good player had to turn it off
Think you are confusing maturity/intellect with pomposity🤔
You might not be able to understand what I mean tho😜.
How many people are watching this just to hear his side of the elephant yoga story from graham westley at Preston?
Only 5 mins in but quality. One player I wish we had got at some point.. but we got Andy Morrell who was class.. them two up front..wow
Always on Soccer AM Show Boat. Class act
Inised to sign trundle on champ manager, REGARDLESS of club. He played in a European cup for juventus for me . 😂😂😂😂
😂😂 I bet he would of been brilliant in Italy man slower tempo
This 1 was class!
Hash tag doing bits x
EFL Ronaldinho
Could only imagine the carry on of parky on a night out hilarious
He was class
My hero ♥️
Secret Everton player who placed the bets has got to be Andy Lonergan
Reminds me of Robbie Dale the Blyth Spartans legend 😊
Did not mention play off final vs Hull City. Lee must have really hated playing for BRISTOL, should have signed for Bristol City.
Cyrille Sneer!!! Crying
Got shit loads of stick at Scunny and seemed to lap it up. Fair play.
Please call Bristol City BRISTOL CITY, NOT BRISTOL. There are 2 teams in Bristol: Bristol City and Bristol Rovers! You have called us Bristol many times. Thank you!
I repeated Bristol because that's what he said and I've never actually heard of him but I never really followed Rhyl and Abergavenny 😂
No one cares

I had the pleasure of having a Bristol City whilst he was at the club and he was marmite
Sounds like a Diet Joey Barton 😂😂😂
Brad Maylett corrupted Lee Trundle 😂
Johnson's career showed he had a big fish in the small pond attitude. He never signed many bigger better players. It was clear he could've cope with them.
The best British footballer to never play in the Premier League
Nah Matt LeTissier
@@andrewdinatale8207Le Tiss played in the prem, he scored 100 PL goals in 270 appearances 😂
It was irony, the joke being that Southampton were more or less a Championship club (that only survived because of LeTissier's goals).
@@andrewdinatale8207 Aah irony is sometimes lost over the internet 😂
He played in the prem 🤣🤣🍩
