- This is my favorite cranberry sauce recipe. In addition to cranberries being considered a "superfood" due to all of their nutritional benefits, they are also very low in calories. The entire recipe is only around 448 calories - even with the added sugar. I broke the calories down by 8 generous portions for this recipe; however, a little cranberry goes a long way.
PREP TIME: minimal
COOK TIME: 10 to 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
16 ounces fresh or frozen Cranberries
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1/2 cup granulated sugar
