except cruz was clutch. Cruz was even clutch this year despite his numbers. game winning catch vs saints was a beauty. He played out of position all yyr, he may have something left if he plays the slot like he use to. 2011, Eli, Cruz, Nicks, Manningham were as clutch as can be. And sooo young. I thought we were set. Who would of thought that not one is on the Giants anymore or even the league. Nicks was amazing. Football is tough. A few prime yrrs n thats it for some. Its time for obj to step up. Hes gotten a pass so far cause of how talented he is. But what happened in GB is not the onllyy time he has had some bad drops. Giants were dominating that half, n scored shit. I bought a Shockey jersey when I found out Cruz made the team, and realized he would be #80, I went to my local sports Store, got the name Shockey removed and had Cruz put on... it was a win, win for me. fast foward to 2017, and I'm crushed but saw it coming. Thanks Vic... once a Giant, always a Giant.

I am a Giants fan and my thoughts on this is that the Giants made the right decision. Cruz in my opinion was a great wide receiver. WAS! I know it sucks to see such a great guy fall from grace but that's what happened to Cruz. I know many people are hating the giants for just how much of a hero Cruz is. But think from a business perspective. This is a guy who is recovering from a horrible knee injury and a calf injury and had a horrible 2016 season only catching 39 passes for 586 yards and 1 touchdown. At the same time, Cruz is 30. Cruz will likely never become a star like he used to be and as much as I wish the best for him, the Giants did make the right decision.

I cried a little... thanks Joe, loved this video. He was such a standup guy, made a name for himself on and off the field, did his thing, but the injuries got the best of him. He had a great season this year averaging 39ypc, double what Odell had, we just didn't utilize him enough.

I loved Victor Cruz, his 2011 is the most inspiring and electrifying seasons I've ever seen from a NY Giant receiver. But he just isn't the same anymore. He didn't come off the line with same burst, he couldn't get the same separation, and his routes weren't nearly as crisp. Maybe he needed another year to really get back to form, but the Giants couldn't take that chance with the salary he was making.

Victorious Victor Cruz was a awesome player with the Giants winning a super bowl title from 2011 he even had a 99 yard touchdown pass from Eli Manning verses the Jets that ties a NFL Record for the longest passing touchdown in nfl history but it's also the longest passing touchdown in Giants franchise history too what a tremendously terrific career he had i do miss him very much but he's living his best life
